but in all seriousness this mod looks amazing hope it actually comes out or worst case the files handed off to someone with a similar vision to continue the foreplay to the omg eye's roll to back of head orgasm that the release will be

Alpha tester need to be able to give technical feedback since we might have problem with code edit with various pc setup.
Not that I underestimate other player, but I rather have close testing for specific technical stuff and open test for gameplay / difficulty feedback.
Not surprised if it invite only.
*Worst case scenario is somehow got people able to hack it and ..... reverse engineer or whatever d2 editor used to hack item back then.

The encouragement, absence of rush, and gratefulness from everyone that posts here really doesn't make me want to say "fuck it" and leave. You guys really do encourage me into investing my very limited free time into a project that gives me no benefit at all, thank you.
Event portals. In this precise case, this is a portal that gets opened when you create a game between October 1st and October 31st. Hopefully leading to an halloween themed uberquest (Marco pls). Either way, whether this uberquest will actually exist or not is free to marco, but this screenshot was meant to show off the possibility of seasonal events (this is not limited to a month, this can be a precise date, a precise time for daily events, a day of the week for weekly events, etc)
This is not limited to opening a portal to an unacessible area either, but I kinda liked the idea of seasonally available uberlevels.
These, assuming this does get implemented, are likely to be realm-only, as changing your computer's local time would be an easy hack in single player. Inb4 single players rage.
