How to survive Terror difficulty?

I'm lvl 85 in Act 4 Terror and everything is raping my ass.
All my gear is Tier 6 Uniques and I have 81 on all res + 53K defence.
I need shrines for crafting but I can't farm Kurast 3000 because I die too easily.
What do I do?

Till you tell what build you play, few tips:
Its not always obvious for everyone, walk, dont run cuz penalties.
Choose mercenary which will complement your playstyle and upgrade his gear with same commitment as for your character, some can be cheap and still works for its purpose (crowd control etc.).

That everything must be mean heretic, trouper, and fireblood. lol

1.) you must be playing an old patch because rathma's chosen is changed to be an invulnerable summon, not casted on other minions. he buffs your minions with an aura.

2.) if you're playing old RC skill, it hugely reduces his poison resist.

btw, currently using abjurer merc on my wereworlf harbinger druid (actually lvl 110), what kind of gear should i give to him? (or any better merc for harbinger druids?)

Look for stuff with spell damage, lightning spell damage, -enemy light res. For a cheap setup use Ornate shrine crafts, mercs have pretty high stats so he should be able to wear sacred items without problems. Other than that, just Ctrl+F "lightning spell damage" on the uniques/runewords pages, to be honest

are +skills also useful?

I believe they are, but not 100% sure on this, so if somebody could confirm/deny that would be good

for abjurer merc: +skills, -enemy ligthning res, Bonus to energy till EF Bonus on Spell damage caps (30 ish %) , ligthning spell damage, fcr , and increased buff duration to make the superbeast morph last longer.
All those stats boost the damage output. If your char has sd boosting buffs keep them active on the merc.
Besides that you have to make him tanky. (all res, high base defense (TCD comes from Warp armor skill from merc), %DR if possible.

A lot of testing and actual playing is necessary to find out the optimum for yourself. Every player has its own preferences. But the above points are a rough outline for 'working' abjurer.
