Hello,

I checked on the Docs and couldn't find anything noted about this..

I've gotten 2 weapons that have Broadside procs ( "Saber of the Stormsail" and "Meshif's Iron Parrot"), neither of which have ever proc'd for me on my Assassin and my Barb.

I probably used "Meshif's Iron Parrot" for a solid 2 days of playing and didn't see one Broadside proc, this was on my Assassin.

Now on my Barb, the saber dropped and that won't proc either, I tried proccing that for a good 10 minutes and nothing happened.

Am I just not seeing it? I've used Broadside on my Assassin so I know what it looks like, I'm just curious if I'm missing something here.

are you using the Saber in your off hand (ie duel wielding?) if so it wont proc unless you use blood hatred or norm attack.
Meshifs parrot, that procs on where the enemy died not on you so you may be looking in the wrong place.

Ya, I swapped around the Saber a few times, but like I said I tested it for like 10-20 minutes, it should have proc'd by than. As for the Knife, I'd be surprised if I didn't notice it going off because I used it on my Assassin for a couple days, at least 6-8 hours of gameplay. I test the Saber a bit more, I'm just curious if anyone else has noticed the same issue.

Sorry to saying that but you are blind and u use it of the off-hand with make all proc dont work unless u use normal attack and blood hatred as Arc said.

What would actually help new players is a new popup/quest which tells people about the level challenges.
Something like "STOP you fegit, you just hit level 5 - better kill Volrath now".

I know the information is in the docs, but seriously: What help is an answer when you don't know the question?
Meaning, how do people know in the first place there are levelling challenges? The only thing that tells you about ONE challenge is the Median statue.
Maybe a new item which is in the inventory at startup with more info would be useful, with important levels and names of the level challenges so they can google it.

what makes you think people read the items they start off with?

trust me they don't.

people tend to read item description if they dropped though.

hence my suggestion to add description for:
1. Dogma
2. Evil eye
3. Shrine
4. Fauzt brain

Additionally, you can add "pearl of wisdom" about specific challenge.
1. Harkon crystal's description before swirlies
2. Twin Sea Pirate in TA
3. Flame turret in Claw Temple entrance terror

Granted, this is not fool proved method for new player. Regardless it is nice addition to make median more newb friendly.

tantrum is pretty much barrage clone.

unless it is pierce (which barrage doesnt), it should be balanced enough

if it 25 per seconds like wychwind for its duration, then it is super strong (stackable x 25 hits per seconds, faster ias better)
