Well obviously only 100% reanimate would be enough to test it out, as even a single corpse will enable fairy ring.

Or actually just use the R.I.P recipe on any of your items, like said. No need for reanimates.

I see, did not know fairy ring was cast on corpses, so much to learn :P i'll try out the R.I.P recipe on 1 of my items (can iremove rip later or it's stuck on my item forever?)

QQ so sad, anyway, would you advice me to switch my mercenary to a Bloodmage? currently got an act2 Exemplar with about 30k def but he doesn't really do much more than help me recover my body by tanking a few monsters sometimes but MUS01 responded earlier saying that Bloodmage is great, just not sure what to give mercenaries item-wise :P

If you take my advice, the Bloodmage, the equip for him is very standard:
Armor: Queen of glass, tu Ancient armor, tier 6 ofc in dest. A "perfect" is great. For perfect, I mean, -40 all enemy resist.
Helm: TU Crown for -poison resist , or TU mask for some reanimates and poison/fire spell damage.
Boots: TU greaves for more poison and fire spell damage. A "perfect" 1 get 20% for each 1 of them.
Weapon: TU Falchion. Again, a "perfect" 1 gets -20% to fire and poison resist. Nice. Still, a "double mo Falchion" will be an great endgame merc weapon
Amulet: reroll a rare amulet. 2 to all skills, some spell damage, and -fire resist and LAK are great stats.
Gloves: Vilehand is a good idea. Police version, the TU Gauntlets also are good.
Belt: TU Belt. With perfect fire spell damage.
For mistic orbs, you have plenty of room. The bloodmage need at least 15% of teleport when struck for survive in TA. Ofc, mo'ed your gear until get the clasic 350% to defense, and then choose where place the tp when struck orbs. Maybe I post a pic of my merc some day.

For melee mercs act 2... the tu trident sea summoner is mandatoty. Double mo'ed will be great.
armor: TU plate mail : cold proc. Mid to endgame: a "Dragonheart" rw.
boots: tu chain boots
belt: tu heavy belt. mid to endgame, a "Truce" runeword
Helm: tu Crown.

For barb... other day....XD

Defense. Even if the merc is a tank, the aditional defense is wellcomed.

You say it's ridiculous that you farm for 6 days straight and not find a complete set then you compare it to D2. I was lucky to find a single Tal armor in one ladder season on D2LoD. But even after 6 days anyone's gear would still be mediocre... It's just an incredibly easy game so it didn't matter. What I did when I found my first full set in MXL is I made a corresponding char to try it out! It's really fun to play that way! If you're too frustrated playing one of many builds on one of many characters then try something else for a while. It's very refreshing and insightful. Eventually you'll likely end up gearing your zon without tying.

I wiped my single player account a while back and started over with a bowazon like you did. As soon as I had my T6/honorific gears and hit lvl 120, I MO'd all my gears with -100% triresist and rest in magic find and went in duncraig. Using SoV and barrage, you can proceed very cautiously and slowly and only grab a handful of mobs at a time. I cleared the first big room and then remade the game, trying to avoid the corridors as much as possible.

They drop a lot of set pieces when you have 300+ magic find equipped and if yourre lucky a good SU bow can drop (like harp of vengeance). After a couple of runs of doing so I geared up with the pantheon set and started going a little bit faster and then ended up killing everything very fast once I started picking up amazing bows like chasmstrikers/ssu stag. You can make a side character that's able to grab all easy-mid uber charms with little to no SU's, like unholy caster paladin or atmg/wyrd assassin. That will help your farming by a lot.

i used
T6 long war mob
locust hive arrow (i used all my arcane crystals i found in dunc to roll a hanabigami)
"jah" zon circlet
+skills/doom amulet
shit rare rings with +skill until i picked up 2 ring of the five (the ones that drop in duncraig)
t6 jitan armor
t6 heavy belt
honorific gloves/boots

you can kill stuff in duncraig with that, eventhough its not really efficient. i think its the fastest way for you to reach mid-game. Lots of mo space in all that, enough to cap your -enemy resist, resist to 75 and achieve a high amount of magic find.
