For the Nih runeword boots, is Lem rune still the ideal rune to use to craft jewels?

For bossing probably yes. If you want farm with it, I'd probably prefere ber crafts for that 2% life leech per jewel. 5 chest, 3 boots, thats 16% ll, would reduce amount of potions you need to use by a lot. For strict bossing you just want more stats.

Are there anybetter boots, than this TU and craft? Some xis rw or great rune?

use dstats reader. that a legal program. Available at "tools" section, scroll down. Its a loot filter. And you can activate no pickup from this program or button X here at the game.

at the dstats reader, ther is a "notifier" section. some items are already filtered out but you can always add , what do you want.

For instance, to notify sacred labrys, you have to write at the notfier "Labrys" sacred or "Ancient armor" superior sacred

Is a5 merc the best choice? I heard abjurer is great and really improves your clear speed.

For abjurer you kind of need to be summoner, or it will be dying, at least more than melee merc. Also you wanna be able to buff him with spell damage, so extra charged bloodlust from protectors, maybe some totem added to the mix.
Not saying it can't work, but I prefere melee merc for extra stuns and motw+bloodlust buffs. As it is now it increases clear speed in fauztinville for me at least 2x.

To pile on top of all things, A3 servant moves really slowly by default, and since Sigma it is hard to get move speed for him, 'cuz you can't MO it anymore. So you either teleport, or find another way to keep him near you. Especially important in those non-open spaces.

A5 = Qarak's Will or Berserker, lots of EWD bonus.
