i'm not quite 120 but doing the MO's in the order on your list on a Legion Scepter would have me with lots of cast speed but 0 life leech (req 120) - is this accurate?

I was under the impression life leech was the only thing keeping my sorry ass alive

Should be leech then fcr

For leech do you suggest "life stolen per hit" or "life on attack" MOs?

life leech = % life stolen per hit. (you want this one)

life on attack only works for melee slaps

Thank you for this. This was my very first D2 build ever.. I never got to play D2 back in the day and D3 was fun for what it was but Path of Exile was always more up my ally if you know what i mean. But yeah i basically learned how to play D2 and how gearing and everything worked in the past 4 days leveling this build to 100+. Very happy with the results.

Make a couple small changes ofcourse to better suit my style.. At first i HATED that Hammer skill and was using the Magnetic skill for single target till i got to nightmare and the further i got the more usful the hammer skill become. Getting a little mana leech on my rings really helped me a ton with the mana cost to where i could actually push it a little further than you recommended but that might change later on as i start to min/max i guess.

But yeah super fun and very nice guide especially considering as green as i am and still managed to make the build perform well through leveling. Guess this weekend ill be learning what all these endgame ubers are all about. Again im not just learning this class or build im learning the dame game with this thing. But i think i picked a good build to learn with at least.

Only question i have... should i be playing 8Player games only or should i dumb that down at some point? What is the deal with the player count? I know i get better exp for sure i already tested that it also increases the life of monsters i think and possibly damage but i didnt test too long this stuff i just kept it on P4 to kinda meet in the middle but i do wonder what the best method is here. That would be cool

the players command doesn't work anymore, so that bit is irrelevant, unless you mean by playing in groups on multiplayer, then by all means go for more players. more xp = faster char development.

Yeah i dont know anything about a command i was referring to the player count when making a game.. up to 8 players. Like i said i threw it only 4 player so the exp felt really nice but i didn't feel too overwhelmed by the content according to the gear i was working with. I just wasnt sure if once i reach endgame i need to put that on 1 player for sure or what have you not sure what the meta is or what knot in this game quite yet.

I also still desperatly need to at some point very soon start actually farming some bosses to get up some arcane crystals so i can make up the rest of my gear which i already have about all the early game recommended stuff and working on some of the endgame items you listed as well. Gonna be grinding it out all weekend so hopfully maybe i can hit 110 or so by Sunday night but im not sure what the exp is going to look like yet in endgame. Im expecting a grind from hell on the level of 95+ in Path of exile. hahaha

Your exp progression will be centered around the dungeons and rifts appropriate for your level. Basically farming ubers and getting the new charms as you go. Chcek out the docs for the rifts and dungeons page to see what charms become available and farming areas for each category

yo, as a totaal noob and starter I went with your guide.

Completed first play through farmed mephisto for the shield and weapon but your early and mid game gear is outdated?
It shows tier 6 stuff etc and most items are nerfed? Would you still use the same items?

I’ve now managed to get 115 charms except bartuc (still struggling with him) so I figured I’d share how I did rathma. It was a bit of luck and some “death” kiting. Basically I kept the crawlers away with thundercrack as much as I could and got hits in as much as I could before I died.
I did this for a few min since it was working even though I died like 15 times. I managed to get primus into a corner in the small middle room by himself with no crawlers around and was able to finish him off with hammers without anymore issues.
I considered that luck since it wasn’t something I directly tried to do, it just happened.
My only issue now is bartuc. I’ve been kiting golems with thundercrack to kill as much as I can in attempt to get bartuc alone. It works a little bit but for me seems to be a chance thing since sometimes golems are attached to bartuc and won’t walk away from him and sometimes there all over the place. But for now I just left it be until I can acquire some 120 charms and tighten up my stats a bit.
Now for 120 charms, Quov Tsin is the only one I’ve attempted since idk where any of these dungeons are and man is Quov Tsin op. I can’t even get close to him before he just insta kills me.
So last thing, strategies for tsin and whereabouts/strategies for the other 120 charms will be appreciated.
