I actually didn't manage QT as a hammerzon spec because we need a ranged skill for the way his fight is.

In order to somewhat survive the beam or mitigate the damage, you'll need minimum 150 flat physical resist (% doesn't matter), 86+ max fire/cold/light resist (88-90 is obviously better), and some sort of absorb. Normally I would say just put on the TU Large Shield, but we can't. So hopefully you've got another source. I went and did Judgment Day before going back to QT just for that absorb bonus.

Why can't we use TU Large Shield? You'll want to ornate-craft an amazon-class shield to get the Thunderstone oskill, and get some spell damage if possible. It's a pretty long drawn fight, but this is the safest way because we can't get into melee range.

Any tips for Assault on Mount Arreat? No matter what approach I take, with barely any chance to get hit and 9k hp and tons of FHR I just get stunlocked from 100 to 0 by the boss if I get hit once, not to mention the crowd of enemies everywhere.

Kite around and around and around the edges of the map and single them out one or a small pack at a time and lead them through magnetic field. You can trigger their AI to follow you for a melee attack, but if you never let them get in melee range, they will just keep chasing. Use the pillars for defense and separating mobs.

Doesn't hurt to keep a belt full of potions in your inventory as well (general rule of thumb for all of the lockout ubers now) in case you run out during the fight but can't leave.

If that's the only strategy then I guess I'll just have to keep trying and trying. I did the same thing with Tal Rasha, but that guy is a bit harder to pull off that strat on, due to the damn towers spawning everywhere.

@edit: got it on the next try, although probably by pure luck, died only once before lockout and ran through like 30-40 pots before the guy died(it's so annoying he starts running away at 25%)

you can spam trap him with summons too. he should get mega slowed from hitting you/summons from defensive harmony + when you use spellbind on him, so it should be easy

You get access to Fauztinville and Bremmtown at 125, so it's up to you. Whatever you feel more comfortable doing or is efficient.

I know he mentioned it on a previous page, but there are greater returns to maxing other skills in terms of damage and such instead of pouring points into Hammer of Zerae.
