Actually no, I don't think so.

Having a teleport skill every 1,5 seconds is really nice. The minions the way they are are really strong both in defense and offense. And I don't think netural summoner would improve that. If you were to transition into something, it'd be better to either transition into Holy melee or Unholy Caster for the boss ubers after level 120, since some bosses like Kabraxis heal on kill, which means it's a natural barrier for any summoner type build. Summoner builds are rather good at farming though

Quick question, which belt/gloves/boots do you recommend to create the honorific?

For your first tiered honorifics, I used leather gloves/boots and a sash. Later, when I created the sacred honorifics I used Greaves, Gauntlets and a Plated Belt for more defense.

Thanks.
Another question, you say to max Blessed Life in both early/mid game skill allocation but Blessed Life is opened in level 115. Am I missing something?

No. Just get Blessed Life as soon as you can.

SeeTwo wrote:115 is pretty much the end of mid game.

Question: Is barb pretty much the best merc?
And if so, any gear list?

A1 and A3 mercs: Suck because your summons won't move if you use them.
A2 exemplar: Casts retaliate, which sucks because you want your enemies to get close to you, not be knocked back until off screen.
A2 Shapeshifter: Is nice because you can easily get a good Bloodlust boost with Sharkbaiter TU
A2 Fighter Mage: Kind of Okay-ish because Chronofield and Glacial Nova are really good CC. Sadly most stuff is already dead when those things become useful
A5 merc: If you have a
Qarak's Will
Qarak's Will
Giant Sword (Sacred)

One-Hand Damage: (150 - 163) to (233 - 246)
Two-Hand Damage: (206 - 225) to (285 - 305)
Required Level: 100
Required Strength: 480
Item Level: 105
Strength Damage Bonus: (0.16 per Strength)%
15% Chance to cast level 34 Spike Nova on Melee Attack
6% Chance to cast level 40 Pentagram on Melee Attack
10% Chance to cast level 36 Bloodlust on Kill
+(30 to 60)% Bonus Damage to Bloodlust
Adds 50-125 Damage
Adds 84-167 Fire Damage
+(26 to 38)% to Fire Spell Damage
+(140 to 170)% Enhanced Damage
+(100 to 250) Life after each Kill
5% Reanimate as: Random Monster
Socketed (4)
, congratulations, then this is the best merc. You get 2 awesome party buffs, 1 AoE stun & Knockback and a merc with lots of damage. If you don't have that item, I'd probably stick to A2 Shapeshifter for the sole sake of buffing your minions. But of course you can also switch to an A5 merc once you own a
Scosglen's Fables
, since it adds to the Gift of the Wild buff an A5 merc usually has.

Aside from that... seriously, I have no idea. Neither do I want to rely on a merc (like me summoner necro build did, because it sucks) nor did I ever gain enough experience to build a merc for lategame. Just give him stuff that would be nice on a barb, like

Good tips.

You mention that the minion res caps at 75 but is there difficulty penalty?

Hey, man. Thanks a lot for writing this guide. I've been playing MXL for about two years now and thanks to you i reached clvl 120 actually enjoying the game and the ubers for the first time. I'm really bad at gaming and frustration always gets the best of me  Aaaanyways.. Just a little question, man. I'm currently clvl 122 and looking for the mid game gear like
Stone Guardian

+(50 to 250) to Mana
(15 to 50)% Bonus to Defense

and

+(31 to 40)% to Summoned Minion Life
+(87 to 114)% Enhanced Defense
Maximum Mana +25%
Poison Resist +30%

. Where can i found these items? Farming k3k like a madman but i don't know if i'm wasting my time here because they drop elsewhere. Thanks in advance.

PS: I'm sorry for my bad english. It's not my native language.

Yea there is. Minions get 15% all resist per hardpoint until it‘s capped at 75%. They can get an additional 75% from gear, so 150 in total. The difficult penalty take away 100 resist, leaving the minions with 50% effective elemental resist.

@seifer
I‘m pretty sure it can drop in duncraig. But that‘s of course always dependent on the RNG. It would probably e best to get rathma‘s Blessing instead, since you can actually work and farm for it. I Listed hivemind as an option, but imho Rathma’s blessig gives better stats for a summoner. As for stone guardian: for me personally it dropped in k3k, but again this is completely dependent on the random number generator.

Wouldn't a tier 1 gloves/belt/gauntlets be more viable ever with low defense than sacred? a tier 1 is level 1 compared to level 30 sacred. That mean you have slots for 7 more MO's.

We‘re comparing a total of 110k defense to a total of 200k defense and a total of 7 more sockets. For me it’s an obvious choice. Of course it‘s always up to you. If you only farm k3k, you can of course get some more MF on your T1 honorific gloves. On the other hand you could socket 3 more lum runes on your sacred honorifics... well, I‘d go with sacred honorifics in either case.

Hello, guys ( excuse my English. It's my 2nd language and I'm not good with it :( ), I love this build it's so fun to me. I like it more than Neutraldin. The fact that you don't have to keep buffing every 20 secs is nice. Well, you still have to keep buffing ur minions every 30 secs with Vindicate so they don't die, but everything is Gucci after that.

This is my build, and I'm looking for some advice with skills, cuz I have no clue what to + next. I have 10 extra skill points just sitting there.

I have 150% Minon Resistances, is there a cap for MR ( Minion Resistance )? Cuz I have 150% right now, idk if there is a cap for it. I have a lot Minon Life / Dmg, u can do the math by yourself there.

Scourge:

Image

Stats: Btw I'm only level 118, I'm still missing out a lot of charms, 120 and 125 charms.

Image

Skill tab: Like I say up there. I have 10 Extra skills and I don't know where to put them.
I max - Blessed Life - Plague - Dragonheart - Scourge ( ofc ) - 10 Colosseum -
1 - Divine Apparition - Dragonknight - VoJ - Euphoria - Life and Death - Demiurge - Retaliate and Divine Judgment
I wonder if you + more skill points to VoJ - Euphoria - Life and Death or Demiurge, can you + more skill points into Scourge?

Image

Weap: Bought this beauty for only 35 TG, lucky me. It's so nice to have this, combine with Blessed Life. Mobs pretty much do no dmg to you love that.

Image

Armor: Just bought this one also, if you track trade log on trade center you'll find out how much I paid for it :) This Armor makes me want to play Nec so badly.

Image

Helm: Hivemind best choice out there I guess.

Image

Shield: Stone Guardian, you guys should know by now. I put a lot of minion runes on my items, just to make them stronger and more health. I maxed out all resis. Idk If need to go over the resis cap?

Image

Standard: Belt - Gloves and Shoes, honorific items blessed with Tainted Shrines.
I still can min/max them. But I'm too lazy lol.

Image

Image

Image

Ammy: Ik this is not the best ammy, I can still get a better one than this. Still looking for a better one.

Image

And last but not least. I have 2 Der Neb Rings. They are 29% and 30% Minion life.
