This just came out to my mind.

Since aura pretty much mapped to RMB, is there a way for barb to have only 1 stance at 1 time, but free the RMB?
I know permanent aura is possible like old charmer concept with .......what was it called...... something with aura-flashing (killer instinct, thrill of the hunt, bramble and culling of the herd)

It is aura that:
1. That permanent on after flashing (affect minion if you have +stance radius)
2. But flashing another aura will cancel (something about aura group that override each other like old clod sin... burst of speed / fade / venom?)
3. I know enable they like shout in clod probably easier, but flashing-stance is faster without casting animation.

This allowing barb easily able to RMB to auto-melee.

If it would be possible to do something like that and still keep stance-dancing in, that'd be great. But if not, I would rather leave it as it is. Being able to quickly switch to Wolf Stance to run to next target or Bear Stance to survive Arrowside or Snake Stance to apply poison + slow is too core to barb identity to get rid of, IMO.

That's funny because I had exactly this idea only some few days ago, quite a coincidence. That likely is possible to implement without too much trouble, although I would wait for Marco's feedback about this before implementing it.

I just saw negative side of my suggestion though.

If there is "ultra dangerous super powerful nuke" available only with RMB, it is potentially able to be abused with specific stance.

Example :
Holy caster than use shield with Bear Stance RW then switching to spell damage deal and continuing to boning K3KBA skeleton.



*I know that there other like some "buff" like beacon that disable nuke when you weapon switching out the oskill.

stances check if you own the skill every time they tick as far as I remember, meaning it would turn off as soon as you switched items.

I don't see that as a negative, actually. Figuring out combos like that and then executing them properly is part of the fun :D

I really think the same. If there is a ridiculously hard combination of events that lead to an impressive oneshot, where is the problem? Something that requires exact timing and skillswitching/gearchanging should actually be rewarded by impressive damage.
