Sets and item bases really bother me. Anyone got a fix?

i'm not sure everyone here makes the correct difference between "need" and "want" .

you don't need full sets . you just want them . you can well enough beat all the content up to 120 and a bit above with just TU's and crafts . no need for full sets . but i agree that we would all want to have a full set on asap , to use in between TU's and SU's .

i do agree that some of them are hard to put togather as some of the items either drop very hard/too late/may never drop at all if you are not lucky , but that's why we got the trading (and grinding , doing countless re-runs of the same ubers , just hoping that the item we want may drop)

i'm not sure you realize that even if we (single players) represent a much bigger playerbase for this mod , the game is still orientated to please more the MP players / party playing . therefore , the trading is encouraged , while the solo self found must just hope for better luck on the drops . i don't think that this will change any time soon / ever .

Have you found any set ancient armors or warp blades?

I assume that you mean items of higher item quality like Ancient Armor, Gauntlets, Ceremonial Armor ...

I think this is not correct. I cannot find the thread from marco now but in MXL 2017 he clarified the drop mechanics of dunc.
Iirc up to mxl2017 there never was a sacred drop bias, but a bias towards items with higher quality. But since then the drop bias is actually towards the sacred base of items. No quality bias anymore.
