I've done Valthek yesterday for the first time ever. It took me 5 tries, but in the end he gave me a +1 charm

So I can confirm that it's only bad luck in your case.

i repeat : there is no offline doc for 1.3.2 . the last time such doc existed was many years ago in old versions , put togather by Kambala . the only way to see the pre-sigma documentation is by the link i gave to you , or if you have an offline saved webpage on your PC since last year (which i suppose you don't)

open all the pages you need in new tabs , and don't close the browser . you will be able to read them without internet connection as long as the browser stays opened .

There is an offline tool actually (kambala). Search offline tools or kambala's post history.

And Google results sometimes link to old docs (I've made the mistake of believing they were the latest which caused a few problems!).

I feel your pain re PlugY. I used it in another mod and it's great. The latest Offline tools has an option to move to/from PlugY shared stash but you have to do it when characters are logged out (I think - that's how I've been doing it anyway) and it's not as easy visually as in-game since you don't see the item's 'look', they all look the same.

I don't tend to keep stuff there like I did before, I just use it as a muling method. I think it can keep stuff but because I can't really 'see' it in the game it feels like the items aren't really there if they're in Plugy stash (maybe that's just me though).

How to gear A5 merc? I have Qarak's Will and the merc really deals great damage, but he always dies at Duncraig.

Are you "activating" your merc first? There is a bug where the mercs are not "turned on" until you let them go kill some weak mobs first. Before you do your run go into the cold plains and let your merc hit stuff. He will suddenly speed up and run fast and give you the bloodlust proc from Qarak's Will. Give him; Qarak's, Bogspitter rw helm and the best armor you can find for him. There is an ammy i have on mine that gives him 100 life when he gets hit so helps him stay alive often. He can run Fautz w me and not die at all. On my merc I use

Qaraks
Bogspitter
Marchosias's armor/belt(HUGE str bonus)
Locket of dreams ammy
eth hammerfists
shrill sacrament boots

The gloves and boots arent the best options but they work atm.

Also you wanna put some Nih runes in his gear so when he procs bloodlust it lasts longer.
