Just enjoying Subnautica's graphics atm. With my new pc there's absolutely 0 lagg. Except when you surface from the water, enter your base and things like that, where the effects of the water flowing down your helmet are shown.

I'm a bit disappoited though. I got the game back when it was still in Steam Greenlight, simply because back then I had just received my scuba diving license and I wanted to relieve that feeling of actually going diving. There are still several bugs or missed features not included in the game, which is annoying. For example I can't increase the visibility range even though my pc could easily handle it. Instead I see underwater trees from far away, then get closer only to see it's that it's still the same area and the caps of the mushrooms were just not loaded yet. This makes me as the player remember that it's just a game all the time, which is a strong hit against a possible atmosphere that could be developed. In the night time it's not noticable though.
Also when my seemoth is docked, I can still jump through the seemoth from below, sometimes the interface is annoying and so on and on.

On a side note: I actually hate horror games. But this is a survival horror game and suits my taste.

Stranded Deep:

I bought this around the time I got Subnautica. And back then I actually felt Stranded Deep more enticing. Being the lone survivor on a small island. But... I don't know how and why it has become what it is now.... many many systems that were great back then were completely fucked over. A couple of years ago it was in a better state than it is now. Everything has just become worse over the years and I have no idea how that's even possible. So no, do yourself a favor and don't buy this. Get Subnautica instead.

Blackwake:

This game hasn't changed much since I last played it a year or two ago. There are new gamemodes though, which put a stronger focus on battles on land. It's fun, too, but I prefer the old gamemode that I came for to be honest. If I wanted to have a weapon fight on land I'd play CS. Anyway, it's still fun for a while.

Grim dawn has a good deal in steam (6 euros) but i could not buy it last night. Some crap with my card. And i got to a beer tasting music listening party last night. So will try to go to bank and sort it out and hopefully buy this game until the deal ends (12 hours or so). It's the final countdown uuu uuuu uuu.

No idea. But the main game - i am enjoying so far. Killed two bosses already - warden of prison and some dude deep in the mine. Melee build - similar to onslaught user in TQ. I like a lot of things in the game - huge maps with a lot of hidden content, destructable enviroment (don't like that door - np, smash it), crafting, skill options and general gameplay overall. I am playing simple mode (not veteran and not hc, died once already lel) and that hp regen out of fight is so powerful, keeping in mind that enemies don't regen? in most cases.

expansion is only after act 6 iirc, so far havent done much but get to lvl 10 and get my second class (demolitionist+inquisitor = purifier). game is ok, very titan questey which makes sense because same engine and almost all TQ devs made it. not as fast paced as PoE but thats not really a bad thing. only real criticism i have of it is im on veteran hardcore and the game is almost too easy if you just kite groups and blast them with 2handed rifles , especially the lizard mobs. i was lvl 2 jumped to a zone with lizards lvl 7 or 8 and just farmed them in packs doing so, they didnt even touch me, got lvl 5 in like 3 minutes i was like "really?"

Yeah I own Grim Dawn, too. I've played only until near the end of act 2. But at some point I sold all the crafting materials because they blocked my inventory space. Well, turned out I needed the materials in order to unlock shrines... Since I didn't want to rerun everything I quit at that point. I definitely plan on playing the game again, but right now I'm playing borderlands 2.

With the Borderlands 3 trailer revealed and the handsome jack collection costing only 10 bucks on steam, I just had to get that game. I probably invested like 100+ hours without ever buying it :D But that was back when i still had my playstation 3 and PS Plus, which gave me borderlands 2 for free.

Either way, since I never played through the base game, I want to do at least that much since I still have no idea about how the story ends. After that I'll probably go back to playing Grim Dawn. I'm playin an Anarchy mecromancer with a shotgun. It's really fun. I shoot the ground and the enemies still die since the bullets have auto aim lol. There are a few annoying mechanics though, especially when it comes to quests. It's like: "Hey, kill Dude Slayer 3000 with a fire weapon." "Hey, burn this net with a fire weapon." "Hey, see those enemies? Make sure to burn 3 of them at the same time in order to progress in the main story!"

It's way too pushy. I don't want fire bullets. I want normal bullets so my bullets can actually aim automatically! And still I'm required to take a fire weapon with me at all times in order to progress in the main quest. Kinda sucks. Just like the inconviently placed barrels that explode and kill you with 0 enemies around, leaving you to die without a chance to get back up.

I still like the game. I just hope I won't end up like my commando back in Borderlands 1, where the only way to progress was waiting for the cooldown on my turret.

Oh and yeah I play those games in SP. I've tried MP often enough to know that those guys online just fuck with your progress and do their own thing anyway.
