it only counts for your character gear , as your character is the one who is summoning , so the summons have no benefits from merc's gear

colosseum him, immediatly switch to iceburst, and have a good amount of luck that his healing doesnt start. Having high dps helps tremendously.
I had to do at least 30 runs to get him.
