assassin trap damage does not increase from spell damage granted by energy (subtefuge enabled of course).
Is this intended, a bug or a character screen display bug?

Yes there was a ladder reset. Your previous ladder characters are still playable but they where converted to non-ladder

I think the only exception is necro's IRON GOLEM since it can be created from metal weapons. ( Use Barb 2H proc RUNEWORDS, you will love it ) I used to sacrifice tiered uniques for epic effects and fun...
