I installed the tools program and then on the top left there is a menu where you load character. I tried loading the characters and it found very old characters but the new ones I made in Diablo sigma, (latest version) did not load. None of my characters or anything at all were listed.

did you select the correct folder where you now have the Sigma save files? they are in your c:\ partition , not in the Diablo folder .

in the open file dialog paste

%APPDATA%\MedianXL\save

and press Enter: it will open folder with Sigma save files.

I did exactly as you ask and I see all my files there that are created by sigma, but the program (when I choose load chacters) does not see the files.
