Could you show screenshot of your save files? So that file extension is visible.

First of all, this tool makes backups by default, so your pal isn't lost.

Could you give more information? Like if you used colors, what means "lost" (error?), which mod version you play etc.

Hi, no colors were used, just changed the name, I'm using the last mod version. When I hit the save button i've got some error message (dont remember what was write) and then my caracter wasnt there.

I created a new char with the same name as the old one and replaced the d2s with the bakcup file....it seems that worked :bounce:

It isn't necessary to create new character - simply restoring backup is enough

Anyone knows why this stopped working? I run it as administrator, and nothing happens, doesnt even show up in task manager. Please spare me from comments like have you tried restarting your PC.

are you using the latest mod data?

probably something wrong with the last character that was loaded. there's a .reg file to disable its loading on app start (also mentioned in FAQ).

Such bug occasionally happens with a necromancer golem (or it may not load into the game after editing, also because of the golem)
You must always remove the golem in the game before editing. Very annoying.
