Considering item allocations would be implemented, this actually increases the amount of party runs instead of solo runs in the game.

so the killer gets the allocated drop?
so if youre playing as a summonmer and the other one plays as pure squishy dps, most of the drops gonna go to the dps but they dont die thanks to your meatshields

more players increases drop rate/mf rate or both and also its easier to clear with two people because difficulty doesnt scale as much as the boost you get with another player (which is great incentive to do party runs, esp if youre having difficulty); theres also a good chance you guys will need different gear so just split it and share it would be better, though a /roll command would be nice maybe?

No. There would be a generated dice roll to the whole party, regardless of his/her lvl.

There should be a rebalancing of difficulty adjustment for parties in this case.

Every build has its pros and cons. Considering pure squishy dps builds can clear fast and of course low survivability, they purely help on faster clears. And anyway that's the players fault for choosing such risky build not the system. It's like saying Pure defense builds are better since they live longer than dps builds. Of course they live longer, but do they clear quick enough to farm an area for 10 times within 15 mins like dps builds?

As far as I can remember, there's a culling strike mod(instant kill when monster is below 10% hp) in here much like the culling strike in Path of Exile. Such mod would be helpful for players who choose to go pure MF builds and of course are helpful in doing party runs.

Umm, idk why you broke up my first paragraph into two sections but you didnt break up my second one. I mean, the two lines of the first paragraph were clearly written together for a reason....

Sure, dice roll generation sounds fair, and sure it can encourage more people to play together,
now you just have to figure a way to rebalance, because

has got to be super easy right. "just rebalance". k done. Also i have no clue how hard it is to add an auto dice generation event on item drop, when the item is unique/set/whatever so idk if further talk on dice rolls are even worth discussion. Which is why I suggested /roll in game which would be much easier to implement and if someone steals the drop, they'll ruin their reputation.

Also tp aid and rejoining for corpses is huge help when doing charm runs or ubers too hard to solo alone efficiently. Imo, the amount of incentive for multiplayer games is huge, its just the repetitive farming (of mf or an easier charm) that tends to lack the need for multiple players; exception is when your char is [close to] maxed and overly op

There really isn't any point in trying to discuss mp farming sessions, mainly due to the fact that the game can't really handle it atm. We all know how laggy elemental druid can be, right? Now imagine drops balanced around 8 players and imagine 8 elemental druids farming in a game. This will probably not be a pleasant experience for both players and developers.

Unless this gets somehow fixed by rewriting the gfx code and remove sprite limits as well as reduce the unexplainable CPU usage, we rather keep solo farming as the best option, since as previously mentioned, there is enough incentive for MP anyway.

Lol, yeah Marco ans Whist, it's time to pull out that $2+mil US you two have stashed away from all those donations so you can hire some solid gfx designers and sound engineers, oh yeah, and a fuckin team of coders specializing in all OS platforms, operating systems, and the wide plethora of video cards available, lawyers for copyright and legal jargon, and a marketing team so you can actually sell the shit you used all your money on and hopefully generate a profit from it. Oh... you don't have 2+mil? Then I wonder how exactly Sharp proposes this crazy concept be funded? Perhaps he's thinking Kickstarter, but this would require a working base for a game already in pre-developement with story and a solid set of core coders, but I don't think Sharp realizes any of that tbh.
