Event: Last Man Standing

THE EVENT

Welcome to the "Last Man Standing", a limited hardcore event with a massive prize pool. Eight HC-experienced players will form a group and test their skills together in the largest event in Median XL history: the last one to survive will take the glory and prize!

This event will be livestreamed by all players.

DATE: Saturday, September 14
TIME: 16:00 UTC

RULES AND GUIDELINES

RULES

No exiting game
No twinking
Only 1 targetable summon (per player) allowed at all times
No PK skills are allowed (phase bomb, veil king, etc.)
No going to town during Act Bosses
Character respec is not allowed
In case of disconnect or crash, player will be disqualified unless Jury validates the legitimacy of the crash

GUIDELINES

Each player starts with 2 Arcane Crystals, Heroic Torch, Sunstone of the Elements and Catalyst of Disenchantment
10-minute breaks after: Normal Baal, Nightmare Mephisto, Nightmare Baal, Hell Mephisto (improving gear allowed)
Everyone plays as a group until (if) reaching Baal Throne (Hell), at which point players can separate into individual games
If the above happens, first player to reach 120 wins the event. Otherwise, the Last Man Standing previous to Baal wins
In case 120 isn't reached, or the event hits the 8 hour mark, the participant with the most experience will be crowned winner

Going to watch as much of this as I can. How far can an eight player group go in eight hours though? I guess it's getting quite limited with the "stay in that one game" rule since people aren't getting much in terms of item upgrades, but then again, with eight people monsters are going to die easily.

1 summon!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!?????????????????????????????????? What is that mean? Only single unit of same type or its allowed a 1 type of summons for example scourges or what? so summoners are fucked. What if that event could be more challenging, if all contenders gets nearly same amount of XP and defeats baal? I want to say it shold be more rewarding for those dudes who wanted to participatе in that event and would watch it. Id like to see a DUEL of all last men standing who survive as a final acord, not for event just for fun. It something rare.

Only one summon is allowed because the idea is to be on *mostly* equal footing and summoners have it ez-mode in hardcore. Also, I wouldn't count on most players making it to 120 and Baal. But either way, PVP doesn't worth on Sigma so theres no way that could happen.

Just an internet connection and browser, each player should just be streaming it. I'm not sure if there are any rules as to which platform, but I'd imagine everyone is going to be on Twitch.

Are Mercenaries allowed? Or do they count as summons?
