Need help installing the mod?

The error is when I try to enter the game with the Game.exe (as I always did) and that error appears no matter what I do, I can't get in the game.. and it's weird that happened because I haven't used the computer yesterday (so any chance that I had changed the registry or move something is impossible) and the last day I played was 2 days ago and I did just fine..

Any solution? I'm all updated in terms of drivers and that stuff..

Why are you using "Game.exe" instead of the Launcher? Are you tampering with the files in SP or do you have another specific reason/problem?
Also is your game installation a legit one or a pirated version?
If you have a manual installation of the mod, with no Launcher at all, you could try temporarily removing the MXL files, restoring the D2LoD default ones, and then see if vanilla D2LoD starts up. If it gives errors you might want to consider a reinstallation.

I always used that one because the launcher sometimes threw me errors.

Legit one for both (Diablo 2 and LoD)

I did that like 2 times and both times the D2Lod started alright, but MXL gave me errors.

The game has to be 1.14d, correct? or do I have to downgrade to some specific version of the game using other Lod files?

Median itself runs on 1.13c, but if you have the Launcher it automatically takes care of the downgrade and allows you to play. If you're using a manual installation for 1.14d the mod will not work. It's always recommended to use the Launcher to run the mod and it's always recommended to figure out solutions for the Launcher to work flawlessly other than solutions to the variety of errors that might be thrown while trying to bypass the Launcher.

Oh okay then, so if I install the Diablo 2+Lod as I download it from blizzard website (this gives the 1.14d version I believe) and then I install the MedianXL that should work fine without problems?

Thanks for the answers!

Edit: Well I downloaded the game again (the 1.13 version) and the MedianXL install both, and it's working fine for now through the launcher! if I have any issue I will check on the forums! so always launch the game with the launcher not other way?

Thanks! :bounce:
