Is cube RECIPE to get ethereal item for rune world, or is only 1 way = find it ?

I need blade for rune wold. i cube ,,blue,, + oil of reneval = get gray item ready for rune world. Now i need make this item ethereal. Is cube RECIPE to get ethereal item ?

Unfortunately there is no recipe to turn things ethereal, they must be found that way.

Dexterity points function as the "heroic strength" point bonuses for this type of merc? Or...?

It means that instead of strength, the act 1 mercenaries scale those stats based on dexterity, so for them, it is:

Per dexterity point: EWD +1%
Per dexterity point: +1 Life Regen
Per dexterity point: +.17 Energy Factor to Spell Damage

Hello guys, i havent played median since 1.0 launched so i probably missed a lot of nice things (like the new dungeon i suppose), but i've checked the last patch notes and i've noticed an interesting change regarding the set items.
While i'm not a pro and havent had the chance to reach endgame multiple times with different builds, i honestly cant remember many builds based entirely on full set items... i remember that the sacred uniques were prefered in the vast majority of the cases. So i think the change to set items is good, but i'd like to hear your opinions since you are experienced players.

There are some sets that are underrated, for example in my opinion caster zon set is pretty great for farming (but not bosskilling).
