+1 for unmoing. It would be a great addition when you lvl up and add +str onto your items but once you collected a few charms with +stats you dont really need that strength anymore and could replace it with something else

+1 for unMOing with the restriction that it does not work for UMOs and lucky trial MOs or allow it for UMOs (not for lucky trial), but destroy them. Destroying MOs isn't really necessary, as they can be easily bought again.

I'm with marco on this one, just play SP and realize how cheesy it is. You will only need to find one instance of an item and it will last you forever, for any purpose/trade/setup.

Right now I have a segnetia that I MOed to 350% ED and then realized that I can no longer use kab stones on it, so if I want a max defense segnetia, I'll have to get another.

if its really up for debate, would be better to just make a poll; though im the type of person who would rather have runewords be un-socketable
(or unsocketing the runeword destroys the item but gives you back the rune/jewels; with great/elemental runes cannot be removed)

what about making a limit to the number of times you can un-mo an item?

One thing about un-MOing would be that trading would flourish. You could MO your good items and use them until you're ready to replace them, then un-MO and sell them.

Some things are up to debate, but a poll isn't really necessarily going to change the outcome as it's only used as a reference.

In the case of unMO, I don't really think there's much debate to be done. I think the negative effects outshadow the positive ones as I've tried to elaborate in my post. Variations of the system, like allowing unMOing certain item types only (like crafts) are a whole different topic that we could discuss once the important stuff is done.

Also I don't see what unsocketing runewords has to do with anything since we're talking about unMOing.
