Is there a reason I can't eat moon cookies (symbol of esu) while holding shift?

Also, an item that hasn't been upgraded with 'lucky', 'magical' or 'lottery' bonus, displays as 'already upgraded' when socketed with an upgraded gem. Does this mean it has to have empty sockets before one of these bonuses is applied? (more important for xis runewords)

I'm not sure about the shift thing, but you can't use normal pots either while holding shift. Maybe it prevents sitting in one spot and attacking while healing outside of leech. Yes, you have to have the sockets empty if you have an upgraded jewel or other in it. If it says already upgraded, it won't upgrade the base.

But I can chug pots while holding shift (no merc). I checked that before asking here.

Ok, had this question on discord last night and got answer from Istaryu (thanks) about Void - Soul of Wrath. But also wanted to double check. What are the exact numbers of flat damage reduction ? And is there anything else needed like absord, max res and such ?

I breezed through it with my trapsin. With Shadow Refuge on, 85 all resistances and around 300 flat dr thanks to Prismatic Cloak. Pretty sure damage is solely physical tho.
