Yeah, I wanted to ask. Since code edits are being implemented, is it possible to remove the restrictions (add more capability?) to skills like Whirlwind or the Assassin's Martial Arts tree? Assassin is kind of unique, being able to kick mobs (I'm aware other characters have the animations to do so too but...).

yes I already asked whist to expand finishing skills mechanism, so that it can be implemented in more skills like shadow refuge, crucify, etc. That said, there will probably be more charge based skills as well in the future. As for windform, same, maybe we'll get hit/kill procs to work with it and maybe something else.

Would be nice if whist can remove strafe movement lock so we can have d3 version instead.


I think whist already fixed batstrike doesnt required normal attack only to release charge right?

What means "charge based"? Is that you hold button for some time, then unleash devastating explosion or it's some charge bar like in Torchlight 2, that fills when your character perform successful hit to an enemy? Or it's just like batstrike or tiger strike from vanilla?

So why we went away from that mechanic, except batstrike, and why we will simply return to it without some improvement?
I love all mentonied mechanics, and I guess it would be awesome if all of them will be implemented to MXL somehow, but ofc I'm not sure about technical possibility and how them all realy fits to MXLS gamedesign though.

Batstrike previously could only be discharged using a normal attack. That made it an unpopular skill to use, people preferred to just use some other attack to spam all the time and periodically switch to Shadow Refuge to keep the buff up. Whist has made it so that you can use other skills to discharge the attack, so you can now just switch between Batstrike and Shadow Refuge. That's a big improvement to the mechanic.
