also if you use whirlpool and iceburst, swap from one to another it should increase dps even further (as long as you tap new whirlpool every second, anything extra is new damage)

perhaps hunters mark from wolf companion would be good if new whirlpool multihits so much

I remember old tantrum + hunters mark would have a ton of dmg and be a great source of leech even with a bad weapon

youd need have +phys damage on something for this to work, but thats doable
problem is its huge investment, wolves have increasing returns formula, not flat 25/level like screaming eagle. So to get 1000+ damage on them you really need to smax them and ideally with ancient blood. Not sure if that would be worth it, its gonna end up being still lower number than individual element from s.eagle/banish combo, at very high skill point cost. Pierce doesn't work with it as well, which devalues it even further.

What do you think would be the best source of whirlpool aerial?

I seem to remember going all in with ancients blood would get you like 5k damage.

definitely still a lot of points though even without maxing ancients blood but its damage you can leech from which has its own +

also its not like this is a skill point starved build

theres no way to reach 5k, i think even 2k is out of reach with all trophies and maxed gear

in fact the damage scaling from ultimative>sigma is probably what im remembering

is definitely the easiest source, but later it shows up as an O-skill on 1h axes, maces, hammers and boots. Boot slot is probably the easiest to give up other rolls. Increasing skill level only adds more magic damage.

a quick, note, wouldnt be a phys based iron spiral barb + screaming eagle debuff also be quite nice? im atm start of hell and damage is more than enough with iron spiral + stormblast using TU 4 great sword + all skills offhand sword

also to go with runrmaster early on and putting some strengh/vita runes in it + bear stance for hard stuff and in general just wolf stance

what u guys think?

later on maybe going with innate element damage + nephalem spirit and SU barb sword for 100% lightning dmg to iron spiral?

youd need main hand throwin axe and offhand shield in order to use sword spiral, it requires sword, and screaming eagle reuires axe, so no shield
it should be playable sure, and decent aoe on sword spiral
