Hey, I got a new modem and I think when my ip connected it, my ip was changed. It's now: 70.191.90.181. I apologize its changed lately, and I expect it might change one more time on Wednesday when a tech comes out to figure out why my internet speeds are not 300mbps, just fyi, but after that, it shouldn't change any more.

IP is the same. Only guess I have is my isp is doing work outside to try and fix this "issue". Yesterday, I had called them all pissed off because I just paid $150 for a new modem so I could get 300mbps, but I was only getting 170mbps, which is only 10mbps more than what I was getting with my old modem, and upload speeds were still 20mbps when they were supposed to increase to 30mbps. To top it off, the old modem was technically capable of 300mbps according to its specs, so this was just a shell excuse of my isp to get more money from its loyal customers, most likely for kickbacks from Cisco. Yeah, so I was super pissed off and told the tech's on the phone that this was basically robbery and I wanted my money back if I didn't get the speeds advertised that I was paying for, and they told me they'd send someone out immediately to check on the problem, lol! So I have an appointment with a tech tomorrow morning at my house, however it wouldn't surprise me if they sent someone to check the lines to the street yesterday, which would explain the disconnection. I'll PM you tomorrow after the tech leaves to let you know the results.

FUCK YES! They had to fix something on their end, but now I'm at 350mbps down, 33bps up according to 3-separate speed tests I just ran on this computer (the server)! IP stated the same so, beam me up Scotty, all finished! Oh, I'll pm you, lol!

in my country if you shit on them, it won't help much. lol

I forgot to say, should have told the technicians that ping is more important than speed. iirc they can change some settings to maybe sacrifice a little bit of speed for better ping (only tehnicians can, not the people you talk to on the phone), depending on what technology they're using (in some cases it's impossible), but I guess it's too late now, maybe next time you have internet problems.
