spell damage doesn't affect plague, solar flare duration cannot be increased

terror strike duration was something like 6 seconds when i tried it, also to me its not really an option since crafting results in req lvl 115 + that skill is sooo rare to spawn at all.

In the end you get a choice between casting a skill anywhere or applying a skill on a monster that needs to exist, just for a little more duration. Still kinda cool to have it at all :)

i'm glad to see that others have the same impressions as i wrote on pages 3 of this topic about Solar flare/incarnation for the holy melee .

they work fine for a holy caster , but are very annoying/pointless for a melee

I forgot to mention that i feel supermaxed plague deal very low dmg to normal mob in destruction blood moor.

Not sure either it is bugged or dps is really low.
Try compare it with wots sin maybe

So much whine for no reason, did you all forget that in the previous version deva king made your morph last 5 seconds? And your form casting skill was on the spell timer which blocked you from using colloseum?

New holy got:
- 5 minute duration morph, and with it the ability to actually use timered skills with retaliate.
- Huge bonus to all attributes, this is just an awesome freebie - your AR is fixed and you jam full str anyway so there was no reason for this to be in even.
- Free attack rating.
- 90%+ life leech for 5 seconds.
- 250% f/c/p/m spell damage for 5 seconds.
- No more annoying lionheart velocity penalty, also with the tainted blood nerf a 1-5 pt lionheart end game gives more defence than supermaxed tb now.

Understand that the 5 sec duration / 5 sec cooldown of Incarnation is the reason that buff is so overpowered, and the only cost to this is a 0.5-1 sec downtime + the requirement of a 4 frame cast animation. Can the life leech & spell damage be halved, and duration increased to 10 sec? Sure, but that would make it identical to every other melee char with 1 button spam fest - this is a much better solution. Not to mention that this way the character will be weaker if you are good at playing it.

In fact the only reasonable complaint in the entire thread is that supermaxed plague damage is low.

Besides Plague issues, holy melee in general doesen't have that many mid-game items to work with early on. It's actually really rough trying to get the early charms, let alone have some decent damage. Paladin doesen't have the equivalent of Kra-Maiden Javelin for example. I tried Ath-Paladin Spear rw, but even with the strong spell damage and -100 pierce it was still lackluster.

I just started leveling up a holy caster and still getting used to the skill mechanics/strategy but the ice breath skill animation and sound is reallllly cool. I don't know where that ice sound comes from but it's very realistic to me. Nice work!

maybe because, assasin have higher dps attack skills, i guess with throwing knife skills,
what assasin builds extra on eqipp usually not use is poison skills duration, but the classic holy paladin did,
iam just saying, the plague and attack skills from holy paladin melee tree, mainly is retaliate, wich can deal decent dmg itself, but the wanted big spread dmg comes from plague.
the assasin does with the knife skills iteself allot more dps because of the faster attack animation of the skills itself, on top of that comes the passiv ways ele dmg and way of spider

-iam having lvl 45 plague actually with around 83k psn dmg from passiv skill in the tree !
-around 900 flat psn/9sec from crafted weapon
-around 450% psn skill duration
-100 enemy psn resis and -200 for 1 shot belial test, worked

char screen around 350k ( without buffs, i use effectiv on fight solar flare and buffs that i can get ofc :) well, ar,ll in this case....the dmg but with the not working psn spell dmg from shimering crafts, i only use them for the extra -enemy resis, blessed with abadoned, for extra attack rate/dex bonus. so if i get the spell equipp off, reequipped... the effectiv dmg could be halfed or atleast over halfed, be that is used

i remember the older patches, i had on the same core build char screens over 1 million dmg, or more

yes it is rly lower now but iam half mid geared and 70% charms i got, and still no sigs eaten, just playing around a bit with fun chars and new skills, older skills whatever
