I do, but my main damage source is path of flames, which is a tick skill. WW druids don't do raw elemental damages (mainly magic), and for boss fights like these we need to rely on mana pulse or claw. My set is basically useless in this fight, which puts me out 5 pieces of gear and an sbs i traded for the set. Realistically, he's only taking cold damage from claw which is balls with my setup.

I'll try a hit and run strat with rain of fire when I get home from work..

Yes, please use high damaging elemental spells. It will make it much easier for you.

199% is the actual cap, not 200%. If an enemy has 100% resist they are immune to the damage and immune to -resist (a few very specific skills can break immunities like Mythal and Doom, but I forget others). Thus they need to be at least at 99% resist to be affected by your -resist stat and -100% is the max you can lower an enemy's resist stat to. So by having -199% resist you will always have an enemy capped at -100% resist (their resist stat), which is very important for heroic shield bosses.

Skip blood thorns, use shock flower oskill with SU crystal sword (preferably in high energy factor setup) and let us know how it works out.

why does no1 use tantrum xbow?
repeating xbow does more dmg and is alot faster than short war bow...

It's because of the quiver Illusion.

Well the unique arrow quivers look better than the unique bolt quivers. Hanabigami is pretty good for a TU while the SU has Bag of Tricks, which iirc can proc off of its own procs. I don't know what Arrowside does, but I wouldn't be surprised if it too was a decent SU quiver. Then you compare those three to the bolt quivers and it's just kinda...meh to use an xbow.
