Magic find have never changed the drop rates/quantity*, only the quality.

Does carnage have a DS bonus?
Because my CB and DS plug-ins will display the words, but when I kill boss, it does not show.

set, and was thinking which build is this best for: Firesoso, Wildfiredudu Unholy Melle/w blood thorns?

Due to the quite high str requirements from the Helm, some caster classes might have trouble to build around this set. UHM has much better options cause he does not need pierce.
The good thing is that Weapon/Shield and Armor slots are free so you can try a lot of fire based oskills. Since Solar Flare does not lock out non Dragon skills, I'd either go Fire UHC, Fire HC or Fire Barb with this Set. All those classes have free stats.
Wildfire Bear is the only Melee like caster class that can really benefit from this Set, I never tried it though.

Personally I had a lot fun with Pyroblast + Pentagram Barb.

Question regarding poison mechanics:

AFAIK, poison doesn't stack with multiple hits, but I'm using a Scorpion Blade assassin and from what I can observe hitting enemies repeatedly with SB drains their health much, much quicker than applying poison once and then waiting it out. It's definitely not the WDM component as my phys dmg is pitiful. Am I missing something?

Question regarding poison mechanics:

Reapplying poison to an enemy applies 1 frame of the total damage of the skill instantly as far as I remember.
