Hello,

Was able to use it before and cannot now. I have made an exception for everything in my firewall via Avast, changed compatibilities, reinstalled vcredist, etc. Still getting the following error. Using Windows 10 x64.

[UpdateHandle] Couldn't open Diablo II memory handle. (error: 3; extended: 0)

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Same issue here, last time I had this issue it was fixed by reformatting my PC. I've done everything you said too, I have to use sigma-loader but that creates a host of issues including the filters not working correctly zzz...

How do I add a sound to a drop ?
Downloaded D2Stats yeatserday and have made some adjustments but cant make the sound to go off with any drops ?
I tested it with "Rejuvenation" sound3

EDIT : When in the Sounds tab I try to press Test on any of the 6 sounds but nothing plays.
I can play the sounds in the sounds map with VLC...

Is there a sounds folder in the d2stats folder?

Try something like this:
  • If you have an antivirus other than Windows Defender installed, try turning it off completely and testing it.
  • Run d2stats as admin
  • Run game and d2stats as admin
  • Set Diablo II.exe and/or Game.exe to run as an Administrator and in compatibility mode with Windows XP (Service Pack 3) Link
  • Read this big fkn thread. No kidding, the problem is common. And surely someone has already solved it before you.

Yes, that map is there and it's contains 6 different .mp3, I can play them with VLC and hear the sound loud and clear, but in-game nothing....

Any suggestions? Dropfilter.dll is where it's supposed to be.
