Need help with Blood amazon.

Hi guys! i just have started playing medianxl not so long ago, and i really like the mechanics of the blood amazon. But i have problem with choosing a good leveling eq and i lack overall knowledge with playing the class. Could you guys give me some insight in what i should aim for when playing her?

Welcome. You have chosen one of the worst characters for newbies, not even veterans would play this char. That being said, you would need some good/great knowledge of the game to make this amazon viable. If you want to play a caster, choose any other given character with a caster build.

Completely agree with Wotan's words and want to add that the most troublesome point of blood amazon is her passive skill that will require you balancing in the battle with 1/3 of total hp.

I understand, i had already played the unholy caster build and had a blast with it aswell. But after my saves got deleted i wanted to find something interesing to play instead of going throught levels with pala again. I've also tried the mele necro build and fire sorc with ice summons. But have quickly lost interest in them.Is there anything fun to play you guys would suggest me then?

Unholy melee paladin is great because he also uses balefire and overall, lots of eye-candy procs and does not require expensive gear to succeed.

Elemental Druid is fine - easy to build and powerful as a trap rat but without a morph that slows your gameplay down. Also, lots of colourful spells.

Bloodzon is fine if you play as summoner hybrid.

Although i dunno her potential at late uber.
I switched to that build a bit and even with minimal gear you can play her easily.

Dont worry about life mechanic as i think balefire and bloodstorm is still strong spell without the bonus.
Just wait until you reach for sov for insane dps boost.

Additionally she was buffed with new sceptre casting speeed.
There is probably couple of empowered rw for her but i havent check them yet.

I see! Thanks alot for helping me out, I'll probably try out the blood amazon after i acquire a bit more knowledge about the game. But as for now ill try out Stealthmaster suggestions

Couldn't you run almost the same gear as if you were a stormzon?
Except of course the lightning damage/-E res being replaced by fire damage/-E res and different helm

was the life bulb "thing" fixed for bloodzons in the recent patches ? i remember having a very fat bloodzon (paragon) a few years ago with tons of life to roll over the life bulb so you could have high damage all the time :twisted:

. i gotta try the bloodzon again when i'll have some time next month . who knows, it might end up into a miniguide...
