Drops are really better, firstly I thought its all about luck. 2 runs (Duncraig, TA), 3 runs - 20 runs difference is huge. I tested it more than 20 runs on gs1 and gs3. Really big difference. Thats why I decided to write you, because 3-4 ladders back in time someone told me one of the servers is missconfiged and drops are higher.
- both patch and d2server.ini are exactly the same on both GS

Whenever Uldy kills me OR if I leave the area while there is a hoof stomp going, when I come back through the town portal the game crashes and gives one of the following errors: 316 (80% of the time), 852 or 496. Sometimes the client just hangs and is not responding and has to be end tasked. I've had it a few times where I get kicked out of the game with a "connection interrupted" message.
Additional info:
- I'm playing a sorceress, active buffs are only familliar aura & bloodlust.
- No debuffs on boss apart from slow target. (Force blast on or not makes no difference - I still get crashes)
- I did a fresh reinstall from the blizzard installers and also redownloaded median, nothing changed. I am using D2SE if that makes a difference.
Update: this issue happens only on GS 1 for whatever reason
it's probably caused by some strange wine (only GS that runs on Linux) magic/bug... there was (is) another problem on GS1 - for some players it crashed when created/joined game - but only from some computers, from other computer (same char) it doesn't crash. With naked (same) char also doesn't crash.
Maybe this this is similar and it won't crash for other players...
after comparing everything I found out some (well, all except realm patch) mpq files on GS1 are different - I don't know what source (probably german version) nomercy used and if it could be the reason....I'll try if changing them will fix something
