Hello,

Great guide, ive been testing nagi sins through sigma and to me its both incredibly tanky and got great damage. Broad is my favorite.

https://tsw.vn.cz/acc/char.php?name=KingGregA

My approach for this build is more ways/broad oriented, as i do believe rainbow damage is the best. Ive tried backstab but its bit unreliable and ive noticed huge part of bonus damage is ever wasted. Ive never used hades gate since im both lazy and for tougher content ive not noticed any speed kill increase (im not interested in chaining cows)

My weapon choice was always zular, its kinda obvious to me. Ive crafted countless nagis and tbh even +skill proc dmg + lasterblade -broad cd just suck comparing to zul.

For Armor choice strong starter for me always was Yaerius set. It got everything broad way sin needs.

I d have two remarks to Your build advice's.
AR is MOST important thing and you cant have enough. Imho ignore def weapon is mandatory for broad but if you dont have it you should stuff AR everywhere (and lets be real adding ignore to zular is kinda ....).
From TTAD (ive not tried knights/albrecht build for that so dunno) to DOOM, CB etc ive tried to increase my build damage and noticeably only DS was worth it. If one can afford, throwing few auches/rogue gloves will boost the damage significantly.

Currently ive got my hands on decent roll of Black Ice, the way how things go its very good, ill post some more feedback after id reach tougher content than cows  .

Nebelring is fine as a defensive option, life/PR/laek are all nice stats, there's is definitely better rings for this build.

Hades Gate shines in dense ubers for farming like Duncraig, Fauzt and to a lesser degree Teganze.
5 points is also very cheap from an investment perspective, since you want laserblade anyway.

Not bad but purely defensive, and even in that aspect it's not that much better than an Assur's, so I probably wouldn't do the trade

Nice ! Broadside sure is cool, and you can use ZKT through the whole game, no problem. But you need something to do during that 4 seconds cd you know 8-) And Hades Gates is pretty cool too
My best argument for backstab abusing is that it only demand 5 points to be useful (8 without tempest), while ways have to be maxed. And while for general gameplay it's mostly a defensive thing, for bosses it just is so much stronger than way. And you do feel the magic a lot when farming still, especially when cleaning up remaning necrobots for exemple. All the while not demanding a lot (littertaly an attack) and giving 2 sec immunity, what can you ask for more?

I do talk about AR and others stats in my gear section ; But basically dex cover enough for the physical set up I recommand, and ZKT should be the same, more AR (mostly from jewels) is something I like because it's useful against bosses (especially if like me you tried some batstrike, this is pure nightmare fuel without a lot), but for farming the base AR is way more than enough, and "ignore target def" stat doesn't work on bosses. It's basically for str/vit builds, not Nagi.
Black Ice do require lot of AR tho as I explain, especially since it's an endgame weapon usually used for Samael and Labs, and going for theses with black Ice without some good ar% is suicide, especially Sam, but that's another story.

DS should only work the physical damage part of the weapon, it's weird that it work on your set up. But in general it's an awesome stat indeed.

Your gear is pretty cool, it's a weird and fun hybrid. It may be better to either focus on having some physical damage(what I usually do because it's easy to get) or investing more in pierce. But sure upgrade I can recommand you is to respec and remove all that base str and vit, ALL DEX is the rule here. At level 137 you shouldn't need too much defensive points for fauzt/viz jun so maxing laserblade may also be cool :bounce:

Hi, thx for reply. Its possible that ive missed some parts of guide.

Ive created such build to combat everything and ive been also very surprised how big the damage is. For sure there is room to do matters in different way and upgrade but its no fun to always follow the guideline right?
I know many people dislike my approach to skip hades, i dont mind really but as i wrote i honestly cant see how its relevant in tougher scenarios, needles to say ways investment is heavy so 5 point is "precious".Its easy to see that necros aint a problem for this sin so meh.

Regarding backstab, there is very honest intent to make it work but at least to me it makes game play slower and useless vs most bosses. I guess what kills it is possibility of abuse so balance option is really tight (oh wait nobody saw it coming 8-) ). With as much damage as broad does imho its not really needed to bother with backstab and remember you have to meele something in order to gain 2s of boost. Ive been testing it a lot since i thought it may be useful especially in Giyua fight but in the end the best option to me was to cast broad and run. Ive even tried to stack light absorb to tank her but in the end it was not effective.
I guess with some relics it d shine even more but since ive never got any im skipping that part.

Ive not really thought deeper about black ice build for sure ill test it out and post how it feels. Im prolly going to focus on cold damage with heavy vit crafting.

Important part is to have fun, indeed
Actually Giyua is the only part of the game I did not put backstab to use, the dude is so hard to hit it's just too dangerous to try most of the time.

were my choice at first too but I figured they require way too much strength for leveling, simple honorifics felt way better for me (not to mention they by themselve give str, the difference end up being huge). And after that I use whirlpool boots anyway, then
Wind Runner

+(171 to 200)% Enhanced Defense
at lategame farming.
So theses never shine, I think. But if by midgame someone doesn't want to use whirlpool for personnal reasons, this is probably the best alternative yea

Hey there,

Nice guide. I had success with it last ladder up until Laz and wanna crush some labs in this one.

I go with phys route first but will also try ele (black ice one) as I get some more pierce.

Thanks for the guide.

Cheers

ty for the guide!
can you explain why put 7 points in backstab rather than 1 ?
at 7 theres ~7 sec cooldown with ~1 sec cloak. rather than lvl1 no cooldown so u can keep attacking and getting many 0.1 sec colacks (+ added dmg to broadside)

I don't think that's how Broadside works. The damage of each knife depends on the moment you put the machine down. It's impossible to install the device while your cloak duration is less than 0.4 seconds. Besides, 0.1 sec of immortality doesn't mean anything. The combo would be: Backstab to get cloaked (about 1.9-2 sec) then quickly Broadside.
Another thing is that Backstab increases magic damage done by Broadside, so you would want to maximize the damage output.
Backstab has 7s cool-down, Broadside can get as close as to 7.2 s cd, hence we have the synergy.
