same old "one tank + one cannon frmo the back"

something like melee sorc can be very tanky up front and take/block the hits while a caster druid (more recently becoming meta and popular) dishes out tons of damage from a range. druid can be pretty tanky by himself, but also having melee sorc in combo can help dish out phys/magic dmg against ele resists.

edit: both are pretty easy to get going as well

I'd say it depends on what u want to do.
If u want to lab it might be nice if 1 of u have tanky summons while the other got high dps for example.
In "regular" farming areas like fauzt it's helpful to have different damage types so u can clear more efficiently with lower gear~
Perhaps cold sorc + something with weapon dmg, like bowzon. Lots of options..
I enjoy having rapture buff too, so 1 pala never hurts imo.. ;D

TLDR: try get different dmg types and play what u enjoy. (:

Does anyone know hilarious combos that enable fun playstyles?
Preferably something with an interaction between the skills of 2 classes.
Maybe a super slow/stun with Amazon spellbind + xxx or Necro Sacrifice + Any corpse skill or even something easy like Barb Nephalem Spirit + multi hitting spells.

honestly, merc builds aren't popular yet but mercs are drastically improved this season (or last i forget), a lot of them got new skills to match better with their respected focus (like abjurer merc has skills more in line with lightning sorc -- lightning skills that aren't garbage supernova). a3 cold merc is pretty strong as well with frigid sphere and hailstorm.

a1 mercs with barrage + telestomping like werewolf or summon barb are pretty effective. if you're looking for niche and fun but aren't worried about competing for top ladder spots, i would suggest something that incorporates merc setups and buffing them/crowd control. can be really iffy against bosses because of merc ai, but fun farmer.
