The old Jumping Jack will be ressurected too :bounce: and a lazy assassin 8-)

Is there any subs for the midgame gears for the sloth? to me they seem to be end game xD anyhow. With starting gears suggested, is farming viable @ destruction?

iirc, EBand and Adrush cost at least 300 TG for both. Paying this when there are lots of other good rings and ammys available, including realm-only? Hmm

leave the refferences to realm outside this thread . i don't give a damn about what happens there (it's not my fault the drops are they way they are , it's also not my fault you get wypes after each patch/ladder reset instead of having a fat shared stash after a few months of farming ) . i also don't care about what people pay for items in MP or if there are other items in MP to be taken into consideration as long as i play and design the miniguides in and for SP , as i allready stated several times before .

oh noes the drops are so low in MP pls fix , i need TG to get those itemz . but but there are other items available for MP only

but the SU's suggested in your guides as end gearing are cheap or easy to find , right ?

hypocrites these days :-8

go whine somewhere else , there are enough topics about MP already . don't waste your time posting here

get some Enchanted crafts instead if you don't have those items available or if you can't trade for them

Well damn. You can't submit a guide gear suggestion, let alone a compilation of them and not expect people to question them. When Cowking asked if you were even testing the builds, its not like he did it without merit. For instance, you posted a few days ago about Arrow Swarm Sorceress and a day later you added the it to the compilation. Do you expect anyone to believe you actually tested that build in such a short amount of time? A build that hasn't been used in several patches deserves more than a days worth of theory crafting. If you aren't going physically test the gear yourself then you should at least inform people that its nothing more than some educated guessing. Black Void, 3x Kab runes, Bag of Tricks, A-Rush, Ele-band and BotSQ? I think something this expensive deserves more than slapping some shit together that looks good on paper.

You might not care about realm but many of the people that come to the forum and read your gear suggestions play mp. But since you brought up the realm(which you don't play on and therefore don't know anything about) maybe you could refrain from making comments like the one below, which you foolishly based on a few trade threads of an aging ladder.
ChuckNoRis wrote:nothing is too rare when you can trade for it . by the looks of the trading section of the forum it should be quite easy to get some of those if you are not lucky enough to find them

Lucky enough to find them?? You really don't have a clue. The next time you wanna make an irrational claim, come play realm and gear some of your own end-game builds first.

I like that you just reworded the compilation to "The SP Miniguides Compilation". You may as well tell people to not use it unless they have a plugy stash that rivals the one you got for free. You don't have to farm anything, so you don't understand whats its like to have to "get by", avoid enemies or post-pone ubers until properly geared. I guess that is the difference between your gear suggestion compilation and guides.

My 2 cents

1. i never put a single item on paper untill testing it if it fits good or not
2. all builds get tested in the main farming arreas and adjustments are made untill they provide good results. And only then they make it here . non of them are "just theorycrafting"
3. i don't need "many days of testing" for builds i played several times before from zero and there are only a few items to update from a patch to another as END GAME GEARING (hello XIS rw's available in SP) . more than half the builds are almost unchanged since they were first included in the compilation 6 years ago (see the Javazon as example where in 7 years (it was first a full guide) all that changed was 2 end game items , the other items remained the same , the gaming and skillplan remained the same) . but i need many days of testing to update it , right?
4. the gear suggestions are based on the fact that SP players had a few months to farm their gear (with good drop rates compaired to MP) and store them in the shared stash + they can trade for any piece they didn't find untill now (the same as all of you trade in MP)
5. i don't care about anything related to MP .

you have no idea how much i have farmed during my years of Median since 2007 .

You wrote a mid-game gear suggestion for a build(shiva) that didn't previously have one. It takes more than the little time you invested to level a character and reach mid-game content. You never tested it and that is why its called theory-crafting. Until you start posting proof, there is no reason to believe the crap you are spewing all over this thread. Remember that there are people who play single player legit, meaning they don't dupe items or have stashes of kab/great runes/cotws and all sus. These people will actually feel the burn when a kab rw or a piece of gear they traded for (that you suggested) doesn't work out. Don't lie about doing things you haven't done. Take your time and people will appreciate your gear suggestion compilation more.

@Fumbles: it took me some time to get over it myself, but people on single player will simply play however they want and they are free to do so. I remember when I was a child I would play age of empires 2 with cheats and I had a lot of fun, 10 years later I decided to play again (legit obviously) and also get into the MP competitive scene and it was discovering a new game, and I had so much (more) fun.

It's a similar scenario for median too. A lot of people start on SP, and a lot of times they jump directly into itempacks because they want to skip the whole process of making a godlike character. Eventually they switch to multiplayer and understand that this process is the whole point of the game. It is important to notice that a big part of the playerbase is still on the first stage, where they enjoy itempacks and making gozu chars with no effort. I think for these people this topic is great source of ideas. There are people that enjoy the game this way, you can hate it or embrace it.

Personally for newcomers I'd recommend any guide that has the name "suchbalance" in it (although others have proven to do good guides too).

Think there's no need to discuss this further, I'm sure chuck puts a lot of effort in this topic and we all should respect that.
