Oops, sorry my bad...
I never saw anyone talk about this strategy before, nor saw it in forums/guides
A well, i have learnt something at least, maybe someone else will too.

Whenever Uldy kills me OR if I leave the area while there is a hoof stomp going, when I come back through the town portal the game crashes and gives one of the following errors: 316 (80% of the time), 852 or 496. Sometimes the client just hangs and is not responding and has to be end tasked. I've had it a few times where I get kicked out of the game with a "connection interrupted" message.

Additional info:
I'm playing a sorceress, active buffs are only familliar aura & bloodlust.
No debuffs on boss apart from slow target. (Force blast on or not makes no difference - I still get crashes)
I did a fresh reinstall from the blizzard installers and also redownloaded median, nothing changed. I am using D2SE if that makes a difference.

Update: this issue happens only on GS 1 for whatever reason

it's probably caused by some strange wine (only GS that runs on Linux) magic/bug... there was (is) another problem on GS1 - for some players it crashed when created/joined game - but only from some computers, from other computer (same char) it doesn't crash. With naked (same) char also doesn't crash.
Maybe this this is similar and it won't crash for other players...

Second time this has happened(both today)

Map is showing areas that don't exist and incorrect map details elsewhere. I took an exit back to Kurast and it was correctly displayed on the map, this was on gs8 if it helps. First time was on gs7 in kurast bazaar, the locations of buildings were completely wrong and there were more entrances to sewers displayed on the map. I didn't think to take a video the first time though.

On realm, cannot be equipped even though its lv req is 120 (it should be 121)

It's a visual glitch that takes place on realm. Just level to 121 and you'll be able to equip it.

How to explain to someone how client patches work: don't.

I always prefered to play other mods with my own PlugY settings (statinterface.txt), because I like to use bigger fonts, another positions for text strings and etc.
It seems that statinterface is inside of Median XL files, so I cant modify it directly.
Any thoughts?

UPD: Done.

Guard said "You may not pass." but in text dialog there is "You may enter the palace".
