If I remember well, polymorphed units loosing immunity and armor and become weak imps. Without loosing effect anytime it could be op.

Guys, what is your favourite/best team composition in disciples2?

I like quite
Fiend - Duke/Counselor - Overlord
Leveling isnt too slow, strong in big maps as for every team with support units from legions. With some armor u can easy kill guardian of capitol, thanks to poison and burns. U have to just attack once and then u can go full defence :) Leaders with some cc items are needed.

I am not saying it shouldnt break, I am saying its unreliable unlike the putrify guy. Succubus has less chance to hit and it breaks anytime... they should have increased the chance of succeeding it would have been more balanced.

Deamons > Ranger character, gargoyle(forgot the upg version) and overlord in front and putrify guy at the back.
Elves > Caster character, two shooters at the front and in the back either two casters and a healer or two healers and a caster.
Humans > Ranger character, one or two knights with the armor bonus and in the back one or two healers + assassin.
Dwarfs > Ranger character, two Son Of Ymirs and at the back I almost always have boost guy not for the damage because in most cases its capped or not needed, but to clear effects as well OR the guy who reduces initiative.
Undeads > Two Phantom skeletons in front and caster character, two liche characters and one red ghost for mass CC at the back.

After Elves final battle. Didnt use any buffs/debuffs because I was already too strong. Also didnt take Undead castle... because meh.

Tried fiends for the last mission of prophecy, easily the best 2 slotter since they level up so fast, healing to full hp after every other fight and being a massive gold saver since you can skip those expensive 4.5k buildings. Plus they always get to go first thanks to high initiative.

I also realized that movement point regaining spells allow you to recast your spells per day (or at least haste did), so a mage lord/mage hero can cast 10 spells from inventory in the same round + normal spells. Also the ability to nuke flag planters is priceless, although for expansion campaign I'm going for guildmaster.

It's prevalent in the last two missions from the regular campaign from what I remember and on about half of the xpac's. But IMO it's not worth it to lug that staff around if you have viable alternatives.


Turned out to be a non-issue since staves don't export.

Fiend is the only useful side-building creature, and maybe dwarves Big foot. Everything else is bs. I was very disappointed how Elves griphon's damage scales.... same goes for Titans. Undead's side-creature can also be proven useful especially whne playing a caster and fighting a lot of melees, but 1k gold for the building? Hell no.

Do the expansion missions get any better or should I reroll another saga? So far they're complete resources overload where the only difficulty is getting rid of them.

Also if you play with rise of the elves, do you get the opportunity to export your hero in the end? Although if all the expansion campaigns are like that, I won't bother.

Oh and finally, are scout heroes capped at 60 movement?

Nvm this, I always thought you were restricted to one cast per day with mage lord having two, never tried casting more spells than that :)
