For example, if you had 50% fire resist and took 1000 fire damage, you would take 500 fire damage, then if you also had 5% heal, 5% of that damage would be converted into health, thus in our example, 500 * 5% = 25 life. From my understanding, the life gained from absorb is applied before the damage from resists are added in. Got it? So, using our 90% example, you would take 100 damage from 1000 and of this remaining 100, you would heal back 5 health with 5% absorb. At least, this is how I understand it works.
I know that absorbs apply after resists did their job. But if my wording didn't make it apparent, thanks for clarifying things for those who could have made wrong assumptions.
