Does that mean that when you die you can no longer do the task you were attempting? I'm not familiar with how the new no-corpse-recovery system works.

In-game menu (esc menu) simplified. Now there's only these three options

You can also notice I've added some subtle dark background behind it, to give it a new feel. So now every options that used to be modifiable in the various submenus will be configured in a new UI that will look a lot like the configure controls UI of vanilla. Along with all old options, there will be sigma's specific config settings under this same preferences UI.

Maybe I'm being pedantic, but I think it would be better to invert the order of resume and save & quit to avoid misclicks on preferences quitting the game

Well the objective here was to keep vanilla's ordering on the menu so that people don't complain they are used to this order (people on here really do tend to complain on those little unimportant things...)

What if your escape key catastrophically breaks right after you open the menu, and you realize you didn't really want to open the menu anyway?
