The TLDR 2H Barb

Thank you for taking the time to update this guide, there is often a high barrier of entry for mxl, and the ability for new players to just click on random updated/relevant guides definitely helps out.

Also, a side note - your progression section from 59-135 has been one of the most useful things I've found while playing median xl.

Build got really smooth to level, people may not realize this.
Earthquake = now a nova, large range, much bigger than for instance pally retaliate.
It instantly makes 70% WDM hit, and then after bit over a second bigger nova, with 140%. All pure phys non converted. So you output 210% wdm, that is spammable, is 1 pointer, costs no mana, and you can use it since LEVEL 2.
Buy some random elemental axe when you start, and you deal 50 damage x2 in blood moor.
Leveling with this is glorious, and it may be the strongerst/smoothest leveling spec, you destroy screens while going with this.
Later on you have shitload of crushing blow too, leech keeps you full, clear got really good on this barb, much better then ever before.

How would you say this compares to UHM paladin in 2.0? (You recommended UHM in the starter build discussion thread), so I'm just wondering if this or UHM would be easier/better?

I suppose the other factor is having a good end game build to grow into, even if it means changing later.

EDIT: As other people said, this was also my go-to guide to check progression even when making another build. The videos were useful as well, being able to see every uber in the game is useful.

I have always wondered, does life leech do anything at all against bosses? It always seemed that my life orb does not even move while hitting bosses.

Is there a leech+dmg value above which I start seeing something against endgame bosses?

very litte, you must deal damage to leech, and how much damage youve dealt * leech and including penalties thats life you get back. Works vs trash especially vs many enemies, but vs bosses that take very little reduced damage, or often have immunity phases, thats neglible.
Only way to heal vs them, is life on attack, so for barb, ele tree conflux, or paladin's hymn.

I don't know what you are doing but I just cruised to nm no problem with crap gear... Earthquake destroys mobs and you soon get SoR that instagibs even act bosses. Hit lvl 54 and I think now is the time to switch to Whirlwind.

main source of LL for this build is..? jewels?

Noticed a few things while playing barb this patch,

gold pick up disabled during whirlwind, not sure if it is intended
ending up using earthquake more often than ww itself (wraithchild tu)
the 3 first summon spirit skills doesnt summon anything (playing solo)

maybe i should post this in bug feedback, tell me if
