Problems with visiblity of skills/mystic orbs

That's -3dfx not -3df. Make sure it's correct then go in game and type /fps, then take a screenshot and upload it please.

i think it's a typo of mine ( old keyboard )



after the change i somehow cant make screenshots ingame anymore (get a black screen in paint)

but it says:

Okay so Glide does not fix the issue. I'll need to research this further since it seems 1.14 breaks one of the colour codes used in text.

In the mean time check your private messages for the old blizzard d2 installer, which will let you play on 1.13c which does not have such issues (and can support realm play, shared stash mod, etc).

Actually I just reinstalled 1.14D myself and found a solution to your problem. Run the game in windowed mode! (yeah not sure why fullscreen fucks it up).

To do this you have to add -w to the end of the shortcut target.

Wow it actually works But do u know if there is any way to stretch the screen to something larger (my gf plays on a 15inch screen so the screen will get almost to tiny to play.)

with glide configuration you can set a "static size" for the window

Just click the maximise button on the window.

Or do what gekko said if you want to use glide (glide gives better performance and visuals overall).

so i need to remove the -w and then use glide (in my d2 dir) to configure windowed mode and other settings>?

If you just want to play the game like before add: -w to the target, then click the maximise button on the window and done.

If you want to use glide add: -3dfx -w, then open glide-init.exe -> settings -> tick windowed mode and on the static size dropdown select a resolution. Scratch that, glide window still fucks up the font colours.

This game was THE game for me growing up, so this mod is like reliving that same feeling
