Legend.
What gear setup would one use with treewarden using poison flash, sol rw bow? Obviously items with on kill procs but let's say helm and boots? I don't really have any great items yet.
I don't mean to dwell...but I can't help myself.

So, would pouncezon work as well? Wolf druid doesn't look like the best for my newbie self, pouncezons can be quite tanky I think.

I don't play anymore, so I wouldn't really know.
I'm not sure how big the pounce radius is, but if it's decent, I'd say it's viable if you have the right build (skills/stats/items). getting some large area aoe with it (like dudu wolf has) would help.

The pouncing (pounce, wolf dudu, sky siege, etc.) is just a really convenient and quick way of farming there, as you can just jump over the canals and straight to your enemies.

otherwise, if you don't have access to a pounce skill) a very quick run speed and ranged aoe/homing skills are the next best thing, so probably a bowzon would be good there as well?

Well, pounce has a 15-yard radius, so very similar to harbringer. I'll try a spearzon then since I have one started already and she shouldn't be too gear dependent. We'll see, thank you.

good luck. :)
let us know how it goes, I wanna see if I was wrong or not. but it would probably depend on your damage, hence the items.

These were the things I had in mind when making this uberquest:
a) Damage should not be prevent-able (hence the resis-uncounterable missiles)
b) Rainbow-damage characters would get punished due to elementals having absorb of their element
c) Density should not be too high to prevent easy procfest
d) Monsters should be semi-static to prevent condensing and thus previous point being violated

This said, you would need a build with high health, good regeneration. In terms of damage, it shouldn't be something too over-engineered. Procs are not that useful compared to other levels.

Yes, wolf druid meets most/all of these conditions but it's not really "the best", due to points (c) and (d). Harbinger and obviously pounce/shupo aren't very efficient against static mobs. These skills do their best at open areas with melee mobs or extremely high density. Remember people like to follow FotM builds like sheep. But I have to admit, wolf dru is excellent at (a) and (b) mentioned, that's why it requires no skill to do this uber as long as you have the proper gear (I don't use the term newbie friendly because it doesn't really apply, decent+ gear is required as you have to engage monsters at a very close range). As for pounce-zon, it doesn't provide that much more compared to Wolf, one of her main abilities is to have extreme defense and %DR (both which work extremely good with pounce) - but these are useless at this level so, it's not better but it's definetly viable. Wolf druid on the other hand has feed the pack which is GG here.

Fun thing - and I have mentioned a few times - v5 patch of Ultimative had a twist and it was that I only used melee sorc for testing (as can be seen in this lousy trailer). So, uberquests of this patch (Unformed Land, Maggot Lairs, and old Witch quest) did favor this build quite much. I did this because versions 1-4 of Ultimative were exclusively tested with ww-sin (my main) and Melee Sorc was pretty much the opposite build (melee, no rainbows, def and hp rather than avoid). So, long story short, melee sorc is definetly one of - if not the - most efficient farmer of this uberquest (low/mid-term though)

And just for the record, I did start to do more professional testing on v7 and mainly in the X-series when the project became more serious, so don't be scared that all ubers are designed towards assassin. My best solution to prevent myself from doing assassin-biased uberquests was in fact - stop testing my at all. Mwuhahahahahahaha. Ok I'm only half serious.

You need somewhat decent gear for a Pouncezon or otherwise she can be squishy if you don't pounce fast enough.

I see, thanks for the suggestions. I should make clear that I never reached that far into the game, but I like to experiment even though my experiments more often than not aren't that successful.

Pouncezon is hard to play at the beginning simply because it takes a LOT of mana to Pounce early on. What I normally do is simply go Bowazon until level 120 then make the switch.
