Can non-ladder characters create game for my other chars (ofc non-ladder ones) join in ?

Q1 : Why do you think is that as a lvl120 paladin, i can't learn "Demonrend" skill in holy tree? Its white(not red), i got tons of skillpoints, still if i click on it it just doesnt give any level to it. I also tried skill reseting, still can't learn it. Because of this I can't learn the Deva King also. I dont have any skill in unholy tree. Is it possible its bugged? It doesn't say anything about required challange
Q2 : I still dont understand which damage source i should rely on as melee. Added elemental damages on gear or high damage weapon? For example i tried a melee holy paladin, and got a full gear of "added ...dmg items" like Aeterna sword or Shadowhymn shield, bad mood ring. Still i only got like 40K damage/hit with hammerstrike, which really sucks, also its slow no matter how much ias stuff i got.
Q3:What characters should use weapons like Aeterna (low base phydmg, but high added ele/magicdmg) , and which characters should use high phys dmg weapons?

1) There's no Demonrend in the newest version. No Deva King either. They both got removed.
2) Holy melee heavily benefits from your total strength. Flat elemental damage helps dealing with physical immune monsters.

thanks:) I also just realised it ingame after comparing my pala's skills with another dude's pala's. Most holy dragon skill names are changed:P
Ye i downloaded the game last summer, didnt patch since than. started playing again recently, raised two 120 chars, i didn't see any sign of problem with those, only with this third pala:P
Maybe they'll change too after i patch up?
