It can spawn as long as the item lvl (ilvl) is 84 or higher.

Do they proc on hit?
Any guide on throwing knives' assasins?
thanks!

Throwing knives are affected by IAS, but a skill like ATMG Sentry uses FCR.

They proc on striking and kill, but not on Melee attack.

I don't remember how I used to do that on vanilla, but how do I check an ilevel on median?

On SP, PlugY told you. On realm, it doesn't, but if the shield is rare, you can kill a dragon in destruction act 2 and reroll it with swirls. It will raise the ilvl to 99.

Why not reroll a rare shield with the dragon or oil of renewal?

Once you reroll it with the destruction dragon one time, you can either keep using dragon rolls and swirls or just use oils of renewal like he said, as the item will then remain ilvl99. This also provides the best chance for more affixes on shrine crafts, so you have a few options.

Another, im quite new in the server, how's the multiplayer supposed to work vs the single player?
Am im supposed to grind alone? Should i start beggin for items? something in between? (i remember that in the old D2 days you used to ask for rush, get a mf sorc then you could grind to play whatever you want). I played a lot in SP reaching high content by myself, and it's hard for me to find a reason to play online (besides the realm-uniques and the chance to make friends)

Oh dear god no. Please, whatever you do, don't beg for items. There's way too many people that do that without even trying to find them on their own. At the very least, run through or hop in other games, build up a char and start farming the places you're able to. You'll either find your items or find other items that you can make sigs out of or trade the item itself, depending on the value.

Realm drops are worse than SP. But this ladder seems to be dropping much better than others, from what I could tell. Make some friends. Farm together or solo. Ask for tips and help along the way, but don't just immediately resort to begging for people to basically make the character for you and find all the items.

Thank you for the answer, just for you to know the part about beggin was just pure sarcasm (at least if i want to play a game i play it, instead of just sitting in a chatroom pretending to be a girl)
The point is, and please dont bash my head in for saying it, that if i join other ppl games i end up being over-leveled for things... for instance, when you play alone you can farm uniques till you get your early build then do challenges, then keep on farming-progressing. But if i join peoples game and just start casually leeching exp i'll end up bypassing the lvl requirements or just being too close to that level that cant farm at all without over-leveling myself... see my point?.

TL;DR "hows is a new player expected to reach end-content online if he doesn't know anybody to progress along with? (without of course playing alone wich means Single player with lag)

edit: i can't grammar
