Short Questions Thread

I got a couple of questions.

What do I do with the Level 0 Challenge Statue? I can't cube it to get a Level 1 Challenge Statue. Also, if I didn't complete this challenge on a character, can I do the other challenges?

Are there many players on TSW? Are there people doing runs regularly, or is it mainly solo?

Can Great Runes drop from any monster in Toraja or just Lilith?

any of those inside may drop a GR . you just need to be lucky . if nothing droped after first run(s) , try again .

Re gear dependency: I guess you guys must have missed the video where I am doing dest fauzt, dunc & triune with Jitans/Auriels/Kali/Deadfall/Nih Greaves + tantrum bow with no striking procs.

Chuck: you are just ignoring my point about all the passive spell dmg sources of paladin and repeating the wolves doom point. You don't need wolves doom to instantly kill non-phys immunes with a pal is the whole point.

All I am saying is it's not so clear cut in terms of damage, and when all is taken into account paladin for sure does not have any noticeably lower clear speed, and in fact it may even be higher. You are of course entitled to your own opinion, even if it is false.

around 100 people on realm currently, most of them farm solo although there's always a dozen or so open destruction games

well you just claimed that pally may be faster due to the 100% CB , but that may also be reached by the barbarian + 10k doom on top of that for tantrum multihit , that outshines all of pally's sources of passive damage .

it's not just my opinion .

i had a lot of time to compaire/test builds . i've played both

well you don't really need 100% cb if you already have smaxed wolf companion so you are free to invest into more useful stats

overall I think barbarian is more suited for tantrum mechanics, but paladin is a stronger and more flexible char overall no matter the build

Chuck you first said that barb could get 50%+ cb and then edited your post after reading what I posted. Makes it difficult to believe that you've spent any amount of time actually comparing/testing anything.

only if we talk about casters . all melee /throw/ranged/summoner contests between the 2 is won by the barbarian by a great distance .

@ CB 30% comes from mo'ing the bow , 30% from pgems and the rest from gear/charms

and just for the info , i've played bow/xbow barbs and paladins since 2011 (my Silver Snake barb /the Arblest crusader /others) , a lot of time for tests since then arround the bow/xbow oskills

now i must go back to work . i'll check the discussion later ,in case there's a need for more debates

Erawan - 10%
Sleep+Rathma - 20%
Yshari - 20%
Six Angel Bag - 5%
Facebreakers - 15%
Wolf Stance - 11% (when in use)

With good rolls on sleep+yshari, perfect rainbows aren't necessary and very few if any cb orbs are needed in bow. As for orbing a tantrum bow for barbarian, leech is priority number one. If you played the build you'd know this.
