What do u mean? U have to sell a certain amount of SOJ's to trigger the event. You get a message "x Stone of Jordan sold to Merchant" and after a while u get "Diablo walks Earth" or smth.
If u are not ingame while this message appear u won't get him.

Does this "Diablo walks the Earth" Diablo clone appears in random opened game or in all games ? I was in one game afking and when i checked message list. It said 66 stones sold, 67 , 68 .... , Diablo walks the earth, 72, 73, and so on. When i checked rakanishu mob, the boss was not summoned. Or i sell one ring in my game, the count auto begins and i just wait for right moment ?
It appears in all games. When u get the message it spawned. Do you may went to any wp before to precast or smth? (Like cold plains) because he will spawn in the first area u entered (if there is a super unique). Since cold plains, stony field and dark wood have a super unique, it mostly happen to be in the wrong area. Me for myself use first wp in A5, because he spawns next to wp (top of it).
