Follow up question, is the shamanic trance bonus multiplicative or additive with the synergy bonus?
I know it's multiplicative with %minion damage, but I really skilled my char wrong if it's also multiplicative with the synergy bonus.

Also what amount of minion res do I need in d2stats to be fully capped (overcapped) for minion res?

according to changelog, it's multiplicative with the %minion damage you get from gears and jewels.

Normal: minions are immune with 25 to minion res (0 resistance penalty)
Nightmare: minions are immune with 75 to minion res (-50 resistance penalty)
Hell: minions will not be immune, and have 50 to total res, even with 75 minion res (-100 resistance penalty)

I'm asking if the shamanic trance bonus is multiplicative with the synergy bonus from the base levels in the shaman skills.
I'd guess it is, since it's the synergy bonus is to the base damage of the minion skill, which gets amped by shamanic trance, and then again by %minion damage; but just looking for confirmation.

Also wrt the minion res, I read that link you posted already, but it's unclear to me whether the amount of minion res I need on gear is 150 (150-100 = 50), or 75 (which seems to be implied by that guide, but it's unclear to me), or 0, since it also says that minions get 15% res per soft point, meaning that I'm always going to have 300+% res before the penalty is applied.

oh brother, thank you for the keyword on base level, its clearly stated in patch note incase you missed it.

ignoring the very well written patch notes, from a mathematical equation

base component, plus additive component, multiply with multiplier component

raising the value of base component will definitely help.

res wise minion gets 15% per soft points capped at 75, with hell you get -100 penalty and which minion gets cucked for max 50%

(75-100)+?=50

hoped that my half assed answer helps.

If that's the max, then what's the actual value? Something per base level?
