Short Questions Thread

Hey guys. I am returning to median after some time and even though I have my old save files I decided play from scratch. Now I am trying to select which build to play, looking for both effectiveness and some novelty for myself. So I got a few questions to you.

1. How is the buffed stormzon? Caster version seems effective early.
2. How is the new holy caster pally? Early on it seems a little slow but maybe that's just me? By early I mean lvl 16 though

3. I love every single tree of druid and I remember my werewolf very fondly - he was one of the 2 last characters I was playing before I took a break. BUT the prospect of getting those damned robot brains with a pre-BRC druid terrifies me. I think I got them with my UHC pally in the past. Should I go with druid trying to git gud but risk frustration and burnout in BRC or roll something else? Also which build is a cheaper start up for uberquesting - trap rat or ele?
4. XVI changelog says new runewords are added without specifying they are realm only. But I encountered some remarks on some thrreads saying "do Xis - whatever if you are on realm" - are they due to XVr realm only patch or are these runewords realm only?

Hi there,

1. Both versions are strong, the caster especially so.
2. His damage is good later on (you don't even have incarnation atm), but the playstyle is a bit involved with the short duration buff that must be maintained.
3. BRC is fine for any druid build (but especially faceroll with rat). The Wolf is the best endgame farmer there currently is but getting charms with him is hard, so unless you are prepared for a struggle it would be more efficient to level and start the endgame content with an elemental/rat/treewarden (wildfire) build.
4. These used to be realm only in the previous version but as of XVI are also available on single player. For future reference - anything you can read about in the documentation is available on single player.

For some reason I remember getting wrecked in Fauzt with rat. Can't remember why or how. Maybe I can try wildfire tw since I haven't done that before. I do love druid's versatility when you are willing to respec.

Btw another question since you mentioned wolf: I have seen your attack speed thread and I was thinking: how do you get enough AS on your weapon for 3 fpa? And is 2 even possible?

From what I can remember 3fpa is only possible if you use the SSU broad sword and 2fpa is not possible in Median (I only listed those values for reference).
