Ok let's get phoenix wave to work.

I really liked Ares lion stance barb, the second esubane was useless but now there's holy avenger sword which gives 25% dr, perfect for offhand

the skill looks nice but even with dedicated fire spell gear and end game items it won't go much above 30k damage , and it covers arround 1/8 screen (good thing it hasn't got ND and can be spammed), while the other main aoe fire skills/oskills are outshining it (even Apocalypse beats it hard) . In order for it to be viable , it needs some secondary support skills (just like Cherub strike needed), be it Meteor Shower / auto buffs as Hive , Path of Flames , Nova charge , Vessel of Judgement . I'll try a few ways to make it work and if it does , we'll have a miniguide about it (but that might not come sooner than September , i'm busy with something else at the moment)

well the second esubane was not really useless . the offhand could proc too , but not as often as the main hand , somewhere like 1/3 chance compaired to the main hand (DW skills vere always broken) - that second offhand proc may now be replaced with LA oskill - It was indeed a very safe and strong build , and now that you've mentioned it, i might bring this "perma stunn" screen build back into the compilation (with a Lightning arena amulet for a continous stun chain -> LA stun + TGod stun + t-slam skill + t-slam proc )

maby i'll bring the Hades dw barb back too , but for now im working on 7 other miniguides that were left in "stand-by" some while ago and i didn't get the chance to finish them

I'm really loving these miniguides, but I have two questions about it. First one is some of the builds ask for 95% chance to hit. Does this mean to hit everything including uberbosses like BLaz, Witch, etc. or just normal enemies? Second one is, when should one start farming for Mid-game gear (I.E., what Act/Difficulty)?

for the first question : 95% chance to hit the main oponents in ubers . Duncraig should serve as a good example to see the ammount of attack rating you need to have to reach that high chance to hit the slain souls .

normaly , you can reach arround 85%-90% chance to hit with 30k attack rating on str/vitality based builds (50k is what you should aim for in end game) , that is decent enough imo . dexterity based builds have no problem going above 100k attack rating and 95% chance to hit .

for the second question , check the "General Gameplay tips" on the first post of the compilation (open the spoiler) .

In the OP some pictures aren't showing anymore (e.g. Terrorblade's swords and amulet say "item not found") and all the builds' skillplans show only a static unrelated image.

i believe there might be some updates in progress with the BB codes and the skill planner (i've seen Marco posting something about this a few days ago here : viewtopic.php?f=25&t=560&start=70 ) , and that's what is messing things up for the moment . let's wait for a while and see what happens

edit : i've just checked the skillplaner link : http://skillplan.median-xl.com/ and it does look a bit different. looks like there's some work going on that page , so my guess was right .
