i believe i wrote very clear : "Dexterity - enough for 95% chance to hit" . you also need a lucky upgraded bow (that may add attack rating too ) + double mo with extra attack rating mo's .

also , the honorifics should be used untill around level 80-90 when you should start replacing them with crafts . do a few Fauztinville runs and get some shrines .


i also wrote : *after reaching 75% minion resist , focus on extra minion life .

don't bother with "minion damage" . because you are the one dealing thamage , not the minions . you only need them there to tank instead of you , their damage has zero importance .

Hey, Sorry I am brand new to this mod so I am having a little difficulty following one of your guides.

I am working on the #26 Die Hard barb

I have currently made it to a5 terror pretty decently (no damage issues- just tanking) - at level 100 - I am basically fully geared with your early game recommendations. (missing one ring)

I'm looking towards your mid game gear section now and could use a little clarifying if possible

For the abandoned craft items, I just find any sacred rare and abandoned shrine and pray for the best? Anything special other than that?

Also, I can't find any information on "Zarae's redemption" (armor) or Khalim's Protector? (shield) I don't see these listed anywhere?

at level 100 ....having early game recommendations. (missing one ring)

if you take a look at the gameplay tips (open the spoiler) on the first page of the compilation , at this level you are supposed to be having crafts and level 100 gear on , not the early game gear . Still , it's not bad that you made it well so far with the early gear . (the build is strong even with crapy gear)


at this point you are a bit behind schedule (but you are on the right track , don't worry) . you are level 100 with early game gear ... but i am sure that between level 66 and 100 you have found a lot of shrines allready , and you may aquire some crafts or even some level 100 runes (up to ON) to upgrade your gear now . so , try to upgrade your gear ASAP . Places like terror k3kba for sacred items/runes up to ON/set items and Fauztinville for shrines should be easy to farm


Try to craft for better gear as soon as possible ; i also recommend using gear parts with higher base defence (gauntlets, greaves, etc) for crafting , not just any sacred (even if they got higher str requirements ). more base defence -> more total defence

you are supposed to be on a constant gear upgrading rage untill end game, something like : you start with crap gear -> search for some usefull runes to upgrade your gear -> get some TU's ->upgrade them to high tires -> get some higher level runewords or crafts -> set parts /some level 100 runewords -> better crafts -> great rune/elemental runewords -> SU's

Are caster builds just flat out weaker than weapon builds? even the sorceress builds are weapon based.

there are a lot of places (uberquests) where high elemental damage is not enough to be victorious . you also need tons of defence (low chance to be hit) / block/ avoid / high amounts of HP / summons to tank . in those places , a caster is weaker than a weapon damage build , because weapon damage builds can (usualy) tank much better , even if they may deal lower damage . a dead character doesn't get the charm . also , geting 1-shot at 6k hp and 40k defence everywhere you walk isn't actualy fun


that's the main reason why most of my ranged caster builds include either summons or reanimates or massive slow or charm or avoid , in order to be viable in hard ubers .
