Launcher screen is grey (fresh install)

Hey, looking for some help with installation.

I previously played Median XL 2.7 with this computer, no issues.
Now, I am willing to play again, so I've installed d2+expansion, copied the folder and installed Median XL on that folder.
But when I am starting the launcher, the screen is there but everything is grey. I can still click on some buttons and there is an action (for example, clicking on some areas leads to season 37 stats on the internet browser), so the program seems to work, but I can't see anything.

Any idea about the cause of this issue?

It was a driver issue, changed from 5xx to 353 nvidia driver and now the launcher works!

But another issue: the launcher installs median xl, but when I press "play", the game starts but the screen is dark. If I press the windows key, and exit fullscreen mode, then I see the game is running, but every time I go back to the game, the screen is black.

Tried again a clean installation.

Now the launcher works, but I am getting the "c000005 unhandled exception" error.

I have tried:
- Run as administartor for Median XL launcher, diablo II.exe and game.exe
- Compatibility with Windows XP service pack 3 for diablo II.exe and game.exe
- DEP exceptions for diablo II.exe and game.exe (also tried turning it off, but still doesn't work)

Finally managed to avoid the "c000005" error (I forgot to update d2 first to 1.14 before installing MXL).
Now the problem is that the game launches fine, but all I see is a black screen. If I press the windows key, I can see the tab with the game running, even join a game, but I cannot see the screen once I go back to the game tab.

Is it related to my graphic card driver?

Probably the new d2gl drivers. I'm at work right now, but from memory, from the launcher, you have to click the gfx, then select both unchecked boxes, then the triangle and download the necessary drivers and place in your d2 and/or mxl folder, I can't remember which. That will hopefully solve your gfx issues. Good luck.

Also changed to another graphic card driver, but still the same.
